  • The description for this video is not actually botanically accurate. First the plant in the video does not appear to be a moss. It looks to be a lycopodium which is a fern relative. Additionally the bits flying off the top are spores, not sperm. All sperm have flagella and need water to disperse. Spores on the other hand are airborne dispersed.

    I completely agree with you, but there are some sperm in bryophytes that are not flagellated so, yeah...
