@1Rockyboxer1 trollololol, not true at all, check out the battalion 101 x8100, is rated highest, at basic setup. i believe that you can also max it out on a Asus G73JW-3DE, one of the best by-far, to this day. and i hope you mean laptops XD. i can name a good 5 desktops that play it maxed without breaking a sweat.

I have x2 GTX 460's in SLi overclocked and a quadcore Phenom II at around 4 GHz.

Crysis is no big deal, really. Not even at 1920x1080 (full HD) resolution.

i have gears of war :), bought it a while back, allthough mine gets an erorr, that error being a stopped working error, its not as easily fixed as say cod4 where if some people unplug thewre audio jack say being a mic or a headphone you get the message and plug it back in and you dont, no this erro message is caused by a expired certificate for the game, as far as i know they are still looking for a fix for this :)

2.66 Core i7 out performs a Intel 2 quad core 2.83 from what i heard and i have the 2.83 and it runs games great. (when you start playing in higher resolutions the games rely more on your graphics card then possessor more tho)

On 85% of games looks better with nVidia graphic cards at the same price that the ATI graphic cards. Game like Comand And Conquer, Half-Life look better on ATI while Crysis looks better on nVidia (still at the same price for graphic cards)

hmmm...not sure. Cards usually use a lot less power than the recommended minimum which for this card is 450W. i think u will be safe but i would personally upgrade just to be on the safe side. i upgraded to a 650W. I will tell u it was a bitch swapping out psu's in this pc though.

ATI is decent. They make good cards but they do not give you PhysX, CUDA, etc. They also ripped off SLI. I prefer NVIDIA. ATI cards look cool though and perform well if you plan on just chose a random card. It will play Good graphical games. Nvidias are expensive but worth it.

you should not upgrade your graphic card just because of crysis, it's not worth it. the hd4850 is really nice, have fun playing games with it! ;)
