Beautiful cartoon :) It's my home work for Music. Do you know, whatMussorgsky is friend,of painter, who draw pictures? After his(painter's)dead, friends of this painter make an exhibition of his pictures, and Mussorgsky write "Kartinki s vystavky(Pictures from exhibition)".Eh?
Thanks for posting this! May I suggest that you correct the error in the title: it should be "Exhibition". And if you add Mussorgsky and Richter as tags you will attract much more viewers. It's a wonderful video!
You are absolutely right. If archtur would add these two tags in the name of the video, the count of views will increase very rapidly. There is no other video of Richter playing Pictures at an Exhibition on the whole Youtube - which makes me sad and wondering, because I have never heard better interpretation of this opus than by Richter.

Richter plays wonderfully here. The animation was, for the lack of a better word, mindfuck. xD The two worked together very well.

A gorgeous short from Союзмультфильм, 1984. Directed and written by Inessa Kovalevskaya. The animation works wonderfully with the music.

Wonderful, I agree with xringer, the Great Gate of Kiev is one of Richters' most telling renditions, but great all the same!

Very nicely done and true to the "Pictures." The Great Gate of Kiev would be a nice addition.
