I clearly remember this was the last board and game me and my former best friend played before we went our separate ways for personal reasons. I really like the music, but I can't stop thinking that last time I saw him when I hear this... =\
@henerinjaro77 I do! ...Except for the memory game in the middle of this board where you lose everything if you pick a Bowser panel. Why does he have to be the symbol of all things negative?
@Turnip6697 No, I want a BETTER plot; one that does NOT involve BOWSER or KIDNAPPING...I want something NEW new. The gameplay is wasted if the plot (or plot motivator-the kidnapping isn't always what causes the adventure, but it ends up happening sooner or later anyway) always remains the same! How about we just LET the Kerog keep that idiot princess-they've been married since Super Paper Mario anyway (destroyed the universe for their "love" too in Super Mario Galaxy)!
That's another thing-nobody has the courage to really do anything unless being controlled by the user. Why do they let Bowser take their coins without question? Why did Wario and Waluigi run away from the Kerog in the Toadstool Tour intro when they could've just let him have it (like Waluigi did in MP3)? Players give even Goombas the strength to overcome odds (specifically in the baseball games). Ya know, why can't the Mario series be more like Kirby series?
Although a little generic at times, it is a fun, upbeat tune. Strikes me as out-of-place for the board, though. Maybe it's just me, but the music (incl. the rhythm and the 'beats' in the melody) sounds like something you might hear in an old-fashioned Vaudeville number.
On second thought, I think you're right -- I apologize. I see now the board is sort of based on a Hollywood theme. I wasn't even thinking about that earlier, but actually, Vaudeville-style music is a neat idea. I guess what I was thinking earlier is, in appearance, the board has kind of a '60s / Space Age look to it -- and the music is kind of more '20s and '30s. ... But I always did overthink things!
@houndoomdude Not until they take him out completely for the next 4 Mario games (at LEAST!)...and the "Mario vs. Donkey Kong" series doesn't count (they made my favorite ape a jerk over another dimwit damsel!)!
Huh. That means there's no way for you of knowing until you see or play the other Mario Party games you haven't done yet. Otherwise, you're not missing much.
Yes, I's my favorite board in the game too, despite that it's somewhat owned by Bowser because Koopa Kid's in charge of the chests and the toll booth.
I LOVE Neon Heights! I like it when you do the shooting thing and the baseball thing. I always hit Toadsworth on that shooting thing! Anyways, 5 stars.
I really like this board but im not fond of the guess what chest the star is in idea

I had a dream about Neon Heights…not too long ago. It was completely unexpecting.

New York City theme :). Out of all the boards in the game, this is my favorite one including Pyramid Park and Sail the Canal one.

0:09 the fast part. It's a part from the Super Mario Bros. underground theme.

@mrbenio He's Bowser, what'd you expect?

@SilverFanatic1 Hatred from me, that's what. I stopped playing the Mario series because of the overly-overused, dead-horse plot devices.

It's... Mario Party.
You... you wanted a plot???

@mrbenio It can't happen until the toad conquer the fears of being afraid of bowser and actually fight back.

@KingBrenn Well I like it: free coins because there's so much to pay for!

@mrbenio Pick one of these: A star, 20 coins, or a bomb! Which one will it be? Pay 10 coins to find out! Only at NEON HEIGHTS!

That works perfectly. Calling it Neon Nation with Vaudeville music shows no problems to me.

To be truth, I hate the board.
And expect for Pagodia, I don't like one of the MP7 boards.
But Neon Nation is the worst, cause I lost every time I play!

I love this board, the thing I hate about this game is Bowser annoying us every 6 turns.

Yep, this board is where you get the most coins, because you're constantly comming across those chests.

I was playing it with my grandma,And we lost that minigame (we were on a team) so she told the shy guy "Get your dog in here and we'll see!" XD
