  • sounds like a belt tensioner is about to go. nice lookin car though

  • Eskamokiller- you need to buy a reflash tuner(sct, diablo). It is a option to turn off since its electronically controlled. It also adds response and a few hp. It's a must with any mild mod mustang. I have a 05 gt, cai, full exhaust, gears, and a dyno tune. Had to buy the tuner for the tune and to bring all the parts together better. V6= better mpgs and ad a turbo and it beats most mild mod gts.

  • do you have stock internals? jw

  • Just cause its a V6 it's gay??? That's just a stupid ass comment. V6 or V8 it's a cool car no matter the engine.

  • my v6 wont go faster then 113 is this because of some goverment chip or somthing and is there anyway i can bypass this

  • How much power?? If you know. I wanna do a ton to my v6 but it always seems like so much money and suck little power :( but badass car by the way :)

  • sick stang dude, v6 love to ya! i got a v6 challenger that i cant wait to supercharge or turbo yet havent decided...so far got a k&n, borla dual exhaust, diablo predator, catless, jba shorty headers, volt stabilizer.........i rather have a unique v6 then a cool v8. love my v6

  • I do like the gages on the dash

  • Should have gotten a GT bumper.

  • @AdamEcstasy This video is from 2 years ago, last year I completed the whole Saleen body kit and repainted the whole car - Check out the video link within the first couple of seconds of this video for the updated walkaround

  • She cant take anymore Captain!

  • hey whats the black pieces on the rear quarter windows, ive seen them on pics of other mustang but dont know what they are.

  • @austinharleyb It's actually the whole C-pillar by the rear window that is replaced, not just a part that is added on (although, some people add vinyl to stock c-pillars to imitate a similar look). These are Saleen OEM c-pillars that now you pretty much only get off of a real Saleen. Stage 3 Motorsports is a big Saleen distributer and I believe they may have a few left in overstock to buy, but that was the last I checked a few years ago.

  • nice work on the 6 man im in the process of buying a 6 with my dad weve always wanted a mustang and well we got our chance yes we would have loved to get a v8 but a stang is a stang

  • NIICE!

  • I see v6 all the time but never like this....well done man. Not alot of people can say i got a v6 and open the hood to show THAT. lol

  • @paradox111490 thanks i appreciate it, I like to be a little different

rolling slowly in to car shows, the sound of the v1 blower has everyone looking. Then when people come over to check it out a lot of them are just confused lol

  • @VSlCKS hey bro are those stripes sticker or paint either way how much did they cost ....i have the same car but mines red lol

  • @123rustypipes They are painted on. I'm not sure how much stripes alone would cost because I did some of the body work like the bumper and hood at the same time which was included in the price

  • hey man, love the car. great work. how many psi are you running? and also, were did you get the gauge clusters?

  • @DIENAMICProductions thanks, I'm running almost 8psi, but I rarely go into boost at all. I got the gauges on ebay probably almost 3 years ago right when they were discontinued. They have become increasingly hard to find now

  • @VSlCKS wow. glad to hear that you still have the car. how much would a set up like this run? i also have an 01 v6

  • @DIENAMICProductions I got it for $3100 2 1/2 years ago. You can probably find a nice setup for under 3k. Check out 3.7mustang . com in the for sale section. There's usually someone trying to sell a kit whether it be supercharger or turbo

  • @VSlCKS thanks for the heads up man. let me know when you want to get rid of the gauges

  • Is the v6 made for boost? Won't it fuck it up right quick?

  • @Wolfen126 the ford 3.8L v6 (232cu) was forged to match the Buick Grand National...it's designed to take boost like a boss.

  • the windstar intake bolts right on?

  • @Elquiesceace Yes, right on. You will need the bolts and gaskets from the Windstar intake as well

  • Okay, sick set up but exactly how fast is it?????

What are the 0-60 times and what is the quarter mile times?

  • @reptilegav lol unfortunately not too quick, no 0-60 times...I don't have posi and i'm running street tires but ran a 14 @ 95 on a very conservative tune. i'm not concerned about speed in this car because i don't want to blow anything up, but my next one will be fully done up and i plan to be running 10's, this setup is more for looks but it does get on it after a roll...i'm lacking traction off the line from a dead stop

  • What does a kit like this cost? I also have a 04 v6 and wondering what I can do to it

  • @1244mitch I paid 3100 shipped for it. The prices have come down a bit since, but you can get a nice kit for probably 2500. Good turbo kits are in this same price range as well.

  • Nice car, and well done engine work but dont like the sound of the grinding and whisling...but im sure its fast...good job overall.

  • Hey what MAF are you running?

  • what is that grinding noise???

  • @25Celtics It's the supercharger. The V1s are notorious for not only whistling loud, but having a grinding sound too. It's normal for them.

  • where did you get your supercharger from? i cant find one anywhere for my 2000 v6 stang!

  • @ponyexpress89 You should keep a look out on ebay and craigslist, as well as 3.7mustang . com and v6power . net for used kits. I know Vortech discontinued V6 kits but I still think you can find Procharger kits new(or you can go m112 from mysteed).

  • Sick stang bro. I'm getting a car next month, and its come down to either a 2002 mustang for $3000 or a 84 trans am for $2000. Havent decided yet.

  • @Aprehended thanks..how many miles on the stang?

  • @VSlCKS 80k

  • @Aprehended That's not bad a bad price, depending on the overall condition of it

  • wy would you pick a low powerd ta over a mustang. 84 models would do good to even spin the tires over thr v6s would out run the week 305s all day

  • get some new bearings for your super charger

  • @cheaniggachea lol well it is the V1, so it could be up to 10 yrs old, but I think a lot of the excess noise is because the blower was designed to be loud and sound like that. It is a "scratchy" like I need new bearings but a lot of people that I have talked to in person have said that their V1's and others that they have heard sound the same and it is somewhat normal to sound like that.

  • get that piece of shit off the road.. oh. nevermind its in grass..

its a fucking mustang. and even worse- its a shitty one.

  • @lexusowner Cool story, brah, maybe you should go back to filming your friend fall off his skateboard instead of wasting your time watching shitty mustang videos

  • @VSlCKS maybe you should stop video taping that piece of shit and start video taping my friend? i bet he can beat that car in a race.. with his skateboard with no wheels :)

  • im thinking about putting a supercharger in my v6 stang is there anything i need to worry about?

  • @mrarod713 There is not much to worry about at all. I hadn't performed any install on my car besidesthe exhaust and CAI prior to this. It just took some patience and some research. If you are installing it yourself you will need some basic mechanical skills. I followed the directions for a typical Vortech kit for the V6 however, because this was a custom kit there was no instructions made for every aspect working together so it was a little tricky

  • Godamn! That is beautiful.

  • Sweet shit dood!

  • @sam3d Thank you

  • @sam3d i installed the cold air intake on mine today, sweet!!

    thanks Amrican Muscle!

  • pretty

  • How did you run a windstar with that?????

  • @jakefmxrider Check out vapauto. com

  • @VSlCKS I know where to get it but i would just piece together my own kit. I mean how did you run the vortech and windstar? Is it even worth the extra power? The kit only adds around 7hp or so to the wheels but im not sure about with a blower. This summer ill have my vortech on. Im finishing my first year in college however so im still buying parts....You should see how many boxes are in my room lol

  • @jakefmxrider....I got this about halfway through sophmore yr in college, I had a ton of boxes lol...but it's worth the power. The runners are different from the stock intake. I believe the long runners on the Windstar are longer than the stock manifold to get you that low end torque and the short runners are also shorter than the stock intake to give you a little bit more on the top end which is why it prevails over the stock (much heavier) intake.

  • Im not a big fan of the v6's but if you can make it compete with a V8 i give you props.

  • nice car bur could you tell me where the f*ck you got these gauge? thx ^^

  • @xpfritz lol they were not easy to find. I got them on eBay over 2 years ago from an company getting rid of old stock when Autometer was dropping the entire Lunar line. They were a rediculous price (I think $450ish for the main cluster originally) so that leads me to believe why no one bought them at full price and why I got them at a discontinued price. Unless a company has old stock or someone puts them up on eBay they will be tough to find but Simco now makes a similar cluster for V6's.

  • @VSlCKS thx for answer ... ye i looked up the simcos they aren't bad at all but not soo good as yours -.-

your cluster remindes me - the movie only 60 sek - the eleanor i don't know why :D ok wish you lot of fun with your stang

  • idgaf i love my 3.8 thunderbird ;D and the mustangs are nice too but i love the 3.8 v6 is what i should of said >;)

  • thank you sir for getting rid of the stock headlights lol i have smoke myself but i like the euro's too, would you mind tellin me what the OD of your exhaust tips are? i recently purchased 2 black chrome 24" - 3.5" OD tips and im trying to get an idea of what they're gonna look like

  • @FTleader15 I think I have 3" OD tips, I am not entirely sure but the are from a Pypes exhaust system for the V6

  • lol thats a qute lil car you got there you should bring it to east LA and race with the big dogs bring you pink slip

  • @jonnyguy76 lol yeah right first I would get smoked

  • @jonnyguy76 what do u drive, a cute little ricer? ya i bet so.

  • @jonnyguy76 , east LA? Compton is where its at. What do you even drive anyway?

  • @jonnyguy76 shut up fag. how about you learn how to type and some grammar skill why you are at it before you try and insult someone. What are you driving anyways?

  • @lurch1489 lol i drive a supra with a twin turboed 2JZ pushes around 1000-1100 HP wont to race come on down ill show you how to lose your car real fast

  • @jonnyguy76 sure you do, champ. lets see it.

  • @jonnyguy76 put out a video

  • @jonnyguy76 Funny how you say 1000-1100hp, if you really owned the car you would say EXACTLY how much power it makes to the tires, not a jist of what it makes. Stop dreaming and trolling this guys vid up.

  • @jonnyguy76 There are some in our little V6 community that would destroy your "Big Dogs."

  • hey where did u get thos gauges from i want those so bad.

  • @Skyline208 yeah.. those are really sick.

  • @Skyline208 I got them on eBay. Autometer does not make the lunar series anymore so I had to search for them for a while.

  • i may be asking a dumb question but, here goes. when you say "Windstar Upper Intake" are you referring to the mini van?

  • @mattvn0070 It's from the 98 Windstar Vans I believe. It's more efficient and allows a lot more air flow... Look up Vap Windstar on google

  • Comment removed

  • WHERE DID U GET THOSE AMAZING GAUGES?

  • THANK GOD! another mustang owner who is smart enough to realize that the stock intake manifold SUCKS. LOVE your set up dude.

  • how much was the supercharger for this. and was it worth the money?

  • @DIENAMICProductions I paid 3100 shipped for the entire kit, plus a tune and other miscellaneous things cost another 750 I think, but it was definately worth it

  • @VSlCKS were can i get one for that price? and did you install it?

  • @DIENAMICProductions I installed it myself. Check out 3.8mustang.com right now in the for sale section, there is a guy selling pretty much this exact setup.

  • how much horsepower are you making with this set up?

  • @PassionSax81 231rwhp and 250tq on a Mustang dyno - the numbers should be higher tho with a new tune and on a Dynojet

  • can i do this to my thunderbird 3.8 v6?

  • @MeghanBlondie199416 I'm really not sure to be honest

  • @MeghanBlondie199416 Yes but, since your Thunderbird is pre-1998, you will have to get the upper intake from a Windstar that is right around the same year as your Thunderbird. (They used the same 3.8 in just about everything from year-to-year).

  • sorry for the double post...

  • exactly what kit did you get? and where did you get it?

  • @dbuc100985 it is a custom one off kit. No one "makes" them but you will need the Windstar upper intake from a 95-97 van, an intercooler and the Vortech head unit and brackets. Then you need to connect all of that with tubing that can be cut and welded to make it fit. I got it from someone on 3.8 mustang . com that was getting out of the game and wanted something else

  • @VSlCKS thanks. I actually am in the process of saving up for the windstar kit from VAP right now as part of my preparation in supercharging my car. The reason I ask is because the sc kit i'm looking into bolts on the lower part of the engine and I would like it to bolt to the top like the one you have.

  • @dbuc100985 VAP Auto Has a FULL KIT.

  • what kit, exactly, did you get?

  • Unfortunatly Vortech discontinued the kit for the 3.8L V6. the only one thats left is Procharger.

  • @MustangScott2000 It is sad I'm going to have to look for a used one for my next build

  • @MustangScott2000 Not exactly..You can buy the mounting bracket still and then mate a Head Unit and the other parts needed.

  • hey nice spoiler thats a saleen spoiler right or cobra and where can i get one i have a v6 as well thanks man

  • Did you feel a good performance gain when you added the windstar intake kit?

  • @MrProficial914 The Windstar was part of the supercharger kit. I did not have it prior to the supercharger install but many people have seen good performance gains from it

  • @VSlCKS Oh ok. Thanks

  • Nice Stang man..I have an 02 Auto V6 that I'm planning on a 4.3L stroker and a Custom TT Setup..Or I will beg TMA to make me akit lol.

  • @TheMrhoneycutt Nice plans you got there, when I get out of school I plan on doing something similar to another one of these

  • its still a v6 mustang

  • @trace1144 You're quite observant I can see

  • @trace1144 yes a v6 mustang that will bit the nose off anything that challenges it on the road........except a 100k doller supercar

  • @MrJsowa I don't know about that lol

  • did the windstar intake fit under the stock hood and did it give you noticeable hp.....and what did you pay and wer did you get throttle body cables for it

  • @0oTEXASo0 I have an aftermarket hood so it fit with no issues. I bought my whole supercharger as a kit with the Windstar intake included. It used the stock throttle body cable. VAP Auto sells a full kit that should fit under the stock hood with no issues.

  • i like those guages alot. were di you get them from and did u instal them yourself

  • @DIENAMICProductions Thanks I got them on ebay about a year and a half ago...I installed them myself in about a half hour, they were a very easy install

  • just to give some input there is a difference between the mustangs of the late 90's to 2003 the 96-98 models all have sigle port intake manifolds and produce abt 156hp and or give or take 205 ft lbs of torque stock (v6 motors only) from 99 to 03 ford decided to give it better folw by creating the spilt port design simmiliar to the windstar motor but made of aluminum im not sure the hp rating is with the 03 models v6's but i know stock for stock the 03 will win against the late 90's model

  • looks sick!! go check mine!!

  • ok someone plz tell me which is freakin better shorty headers or long tube headers. No one will tell me a definate answer. All they say is long tubes flow better and take heat away faster, but my god come on shorty headers basically just shoot your exhaust straight to the pipe. it's like you don't even have headers cause they're so short so that automatically makes em flow good and less metal there so lighter than long tubes and... ugh i don't know just tell me which is freakin better

  • Long tubes are better, they can help the engine breathe easier. You will get slightly higher hp numbers from long tubes, however they are lower to the ground and can bottom out around the collectors...shorties don't really do much because they flow similar to the stock exhaust manifolds

  • There is no difference between the windstar V6 and the mustang V-6.the only thing that makes the mustang faster is the suspension, and hte tranny.

  • Im confused with brucekirk89's comment. You know that a ford windstar is a mini van, Right? How is there not a difference in that and a mustang? That's all that windstar intake is from. VAP auto are just taking the intakes from 90's model windstar minivans and creating a kit to make it work with a v6 mustang. Those mini vans have 155 hp, so how is that the same as a mustang? Those intakes are great designs though i was going to do one on mine but you have to delete the egr valve.

  • Well my windstar has 190+ BHP and 185+ HSP.

The only difference is the weight,chip,rear-ed,tuned suspensions......

The block and heads are all the same that's what I meant

  • You do not need to delete the EGR. I did not

  • @brucekirk89 what hey i though the windstar was faster and plus it has a 4.2l engine thats why a lot of v6 owner swap them out and put them in there stangs?

  • thanks man! and one more thing, how much did it cost to put it on?

  • I did the install myself so that didn't cost anything. I was skeptical at first but after doing research on how everything works and where it goes etc. it was pretty straightforward. It took me a while but I took my time and did it right

  • looks sweet, I have a 00 white v6er and I'm getting a set of blue stripes for it, should look at hot as yours.

  • Thanks, let me know when you get them on, I'de like to see a picture of it when its finished

  • what is the type of vortech charger you put in yours? i dont understand which ones you can put on a v6

  • It's just a v1 s-trim, nothing big... its the first version that came out but there are also v2's which are quieter, and I believe there is even a v3 which is self lubricated so you dont have to tap your oil pan like I had to

  • Very Nice!

  • Thanks

  • Where did you get your Mac Long tube headers from? and Im From NJ im not sure if i would pass inspection with them on my car. Also do you get any lights on the dashboard from the Headers or H-Pipe?

  • I don't personally have the long tubes or H pipe, because I didn't know much when I first put on my exhaust 4 years ago and went with the first thing I saw...You can get them from many places just google them. If you need to pass emissions then you will need the cats still, but there is no real catted-H that directly bolts up to the headers so some mini flows could be welded in by a shop.

  • @VSlCKS how many HP and rwhp did you pull from just teh windstar intake?

  • @OEFarredondo I did not have the Windstar before the blower, it was all one kit, but you should be able to get a solid 5-8hp and ~15tq from the windstar intake alone

  • Well so far I've worked mostly on the Exterior. I have a Cervinis hood, a K&N cold air intake, 17 inch black deep dish bullit rims, sequential and smoked tailights, 3rd brake light, black mustang letter inserts for the rear bumper, American Bass sound system, Black bullit style gas cap and a smaller antenna. Next i'll get Black racing stripes like your white stripes and then work more on the motor. Not sure what kind of dual exhaust would sound good on my car, any ideas?

  • To get the best sounding with the stock motor try a set of Mac long tube headers and matching H-pipe with Flowmaster 40's. It's the best sounding I've heard on a 6. I learned the hard way and got shorty headers 4 years ago and didn't know any better that they don't do much at all. Check out punypony's exhaust video on here

  • Damn bro. Thats a nice Ride. Keep it up man, Im working on my V6 as well. I'll post videos soon.

  • Thanks, I will keep checking back for your vids. What do you have done to it?

  • wat year windstar that come off of

  • I believe its anywhere from a 96-98
