I'd like to point out that, A: you can skip level 7 and most of 6 by using a jetpack to go through the door without getting the trophy, and, (unofficially) reach the level 8 warp zone (and that, once you get the trophy) you can go through the door of this warp zone and be in level 8 (correct me if I'm wrong).

B. It is extremely possible to get to the door of level 6 without the aid of a jetpack. See those platforms without water on them? Jump over the water first, and LAND ON THEM.

maybe its slower on your computer because you don't use DosBox but try to run it on XP or Vista
