As an Australian, it certainly disappoints me to see our reliance on recycling foreign trends. When did Australia last have a definitive sound? I hear the sounds of The Church and think of them as typically Australian - despite having likeness to a bevy of British post-punk bands.

Yet, Snakadaktal pour out Foals-like sounds. This band make nice songs and the girl is adorable. But the future of music? How is this sustainable, original, or inspiring?
