I wish i had born in those eras, but i had to born in 1998 :‘( ...*sniff* *sniff*

  • Man!!!! Fuck hippies.

  • descargare esta cancion solo por el capitulo de los simpsons guajajaj

  • one of my all time fave songs, although i'm into rock music.

  • does anyone know the title of the movie in which they played this song?the movie is about four girls growing up

  • @SkolskaKnjiga It's Now and then. I love that movie!

  • You got to love these oldies. I do.

  • I started listening to this quite often after hearing it on the TV movie "Archie: To Riverdale and Back"!

  • This is the real music.

  • 12 people either like Cracked or Justin Bieber

  • Well XxRoCkAnG3LxX - You Don't know a life past of Happiness, Calmness, Good Music and People that Cared about each other, Your Age Group is Ignorent to Life!!!!

  • gladstone, you have poor taste in music.

  • This song was the most popular in 1969XD It beat Jimi Hendrix, and all that other good stuff. Its not a bad song, but come on.

  • I never knew that this song was made by a band representing characters from the Archie universe. Oh, Cracked, I will thank you when I get a question on this very subject as the final question on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?".

  • I fucking hate this song. Go cracked.

  • i'm a fan of cracked but this is actually good.

  • @shashiiawesome ergo, you suck.

  • @shashiiawesome same here. it's kinda cheesy but still it's waaaay better than some other stuff we are forced to listen to nowadays!!! hahaha

  • @freiheitsalv though sometimes, cheesy is good! :B

  • @shashiiawesome haha agree! i mean, chill out ppl..... it's just a song!!!!! XD

  • not as popular as ice ice baby. by popular i mean 'good', right?

  • @dastechnoviking ice ice baby SUCKED

  • I like it. Fuck you cracked.

  • I actually like this song. I had no idea at all that it was done by a session group under the banner of the Archies, as I thought it was done by the Monkees.

Who, as it turned out, knocked it back and sacrificed a guaranteed million seller on both sides of the Atlantic.

    LOL

  • Thank you Jughead! :D

  • sucks

  • Cracked brought me here.

  • ...So this was basically the Glee of the 1960s?

  • @timstevealbright because they're pompass-holes who are totally full of themselves.

  • @CarissimiRBeast easy now, bitter-Ben

  • @godzillaprime I aint even mad, bro

  • Cracked sent me here.

  • i dont know why cracked doesnt like this

  • @xbelersterx

It's the fact that this became a number one hit when the Beatles had just released Abbey Road, and that it was ahead of the Rolling Stones, the Temptations, Pink Floyd, and a bunch of other artists who, frankly, had more talented shits than the the Archies.

  • @soxwon04 Heh, this song is to today's hits what The Beatles are to BEP, so to speak.

  • @Perszeusz

Don't EVER compare the Beatles to the Black Eyed Peas. The Beatles had originality, diversity, and talent. The Black Eyed Peas are 3 dudes with no talent and a day-glow prostitute who, judging by her superbowl performance, can't perform a song w/o auto-tune.

  • @soxwon04 That was the whole point of my comment, man.

  • Cracked

  • @glodraz Faggot

  • BOO!!!

  • Man this sucks. It makes the black eyed peas look like folk poets.

  • Rainha da Sucata o/ ehaiehiuaeih

  • So there were just an animated group? I love this song a lot.

  • love it it remains me of my childhood and my friends in school,

  • I love this song

  • another wonderful reminder of my childhood! i'm 44 years old and i simply cherish this song! whenever i hear it i'm taken back to a special time in my life when life was much more simple and uncomplicated. i miss those times dearly.

  • My favorite cartoon back in the day! Still love it...

  • All the best to Govan High School FP'S Glasgow, especially 1969-1972

  • 3 people have no friends XD

  • comics and bubble gum music. haha.. loving the memories of a life gone by...

  • This song was the lullaby I prefer to hear from my mother when I'm two years old. Means to me the most funny part of my childhood. When I hear it, I transport to my baby age. ¡This is a very fun song!

  • I found out last week sugar is good for the grass, probably should say lawn, However I like the sugar that put a smile on a face.

  • The prob is not being 14 its being 13 and here in Brazil they only speak of Samba,Pagode, etc.I only like old records like The Archies,Christie,Creedence,Hank Williams.Etc

  • @bulyboy39 yeah because your heard it somewhere in the movies. >:p

  • no its not cus i have watched a movie, i like this song thats why aint it obvious?

  • (@ animeLo) you know what? Some kids today actually like this type of music because they grew up with it, like I did. Stop stereotyping.

  • Do you have Archie's Party? I think it is also in that record. I have been looking for that song. Could you email it to me? Or could you post it in YouTube? Thanks a lot.

  • oh honey honey ha ha

  • very cute

  • This tune is Sweeeeet...LOL! Awesome oldie...5***** post!

  • just love this song..so amazing..in 1969..gosh..where was I? maybe running around somewhere..lol..

  • i am love it :)

  • MACDONAL'S

  • Nope - Arizona here, but my wife is a true, pure bred native 60's San Francisco hippie with a great sense of humor; chances are she's rubbed off on me

  • Jughead knocked up Veronica - the result was Pee Wee Herman. The surrounding controversy spelled an untimely end to the Archies' career. Archie and Reggie eventually became lovers and were the first gay couple to be legally married in California. Betty remained single, dropped out of the music scene then reemerged 20 years later with a new stage name, "Madonna". The rest is history.

  • LOL!!! Wait until you hear the story about the Scooby-Doo gang. Shaggie was found dead after OD'ing on Scooby snacks, Velma became a high ranking Femi-Nazi with the National Organization for Women and Fred and Daphne ran off and now own a go-kart business. Scooby is now a director for animal porn in Thailand.

  • I thought they all ran their own drug cartel

  • Your comment and the responses RE: are too funny! Let me guess,....you live in CA?

  • Sweet

  • Rockangel, that is sad but true. Fortunately I am just the opposite of that. I love and adore older music just the way it is.

  • i really appreciate this song and archie cartoons too!

  • I like the oldies, most people in my age group would demand that the song be changed to something else.

  • @XxRoCkAnG3LxX i know what you mean i love the oldies

  • @XxRoCkAnG3LxX Word

  • @XxRoCkAnG3LxX so many people say that on here; I think you'd be shocked how many think like you do in "your age group"

  • @XxRoCkAnG3LxX same here. let the ignorant live in ignorance.

  • @XxRoCkAnG3LxX omg yeah that is so tru i h8 that no1 likes old songs

  • @XxRoCkAnG3LxX wrong, most ppl have no opnion on the subject,u and we do,this song is a milestone for me
