Hi, I just started playing guitar, trying to self teach and this lesson really helped. But I only have one question, are you leaving the figures down for each chord when you strum or are you lifting them up? Like after you hit the main chord before you switch to the next one.

if you dont have a k po just play it with a D starting at the 2nd fret and then a Dsus then a Dsus again and then play a D with out your middle finger on the bottom or first string, that is the easiest way to play it.

hey man to be honest, all those guitars will sound good when they are in tune, because the notes if they are in tune are the same note, but cheaper guitars you will have to tune more often, just keep it in tune and you will be fine, but those are both good brands of guitars

2:25 is where it starts, i think i say it pretty slow, i want you all to start gettin more comfortable with recognizing strum patterns from hearing them, so work at figuring it out from what i say and listening, you will get it

hey my teacher taught me it this way.

normal d chord

then then d chord with pinkie in first string

then d chord

then first finger on 3rd string and 3rd finger in second string (all in variation of the d chord)

I play it a little bit differently: basic d shape, pinky on the first string 3rd fret, back to the basic d shape and then xx2230 (from low E to high E). Works as well in my opinion.

Nice tutorial, but there's an easier way to play the intro =D You forget the kaypo (no idea on sp...) and play the D but instead of switching to A and G you just hammer on the 3rd fret high e string for the G, and take al fingers off the high for your A, it's not perfect, but it woks well for beginners.

Sorry this explanation is horrid, I'll try to make a vid of what I'm talking about soon.
