  • @GabriHell23

It's so fun to play on the bass!!!

  • blistering.

  • GENIUS!

  • just sit back and feel it!!! POWER from the Rock GOD.

  • I was just about listen this song but I got those crummy ads about more rock people. The ad nearly ripped my heart when they said Motorhead and Megadeath are Metal Gods (They're still awesome bands) but Judas Priest...IS THE REAL METAL GODS!

  • I stole two things from my first girlfriend...you can guess the first, and this album was the second!

  • JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST RULES !!!

  • "Is pain better....than the graaaaaaaaave!"

  • this is the song of the disc that make you feel sure of what will happen in the next discs(with the good meaning of the situation)

  • Like a tiger in the cage we begin to shake with Raaaaaaaage!

    Nuff said.

  • Rob is one of the few singers where every word is clearly recognisable despite the "heaviness" of the tracks.

  • @on2wheelz28

Fuckin greatest comment of all time.

  • love the bass at the beginning <3

  • was that some kindof ragga metal in the beginning? lol

  • Money....

  • HOLY SHIT, I'M DRINKING BEAUTY WITH MY EARS

  • intro probably influenced the police

  • @skateNappreciate face palm.

  • 3:30 Like a Tiger (tigers claws slashing the metal bars) In the cage ! I love Priest ! The best metal band ever !

  • IF A MEXICAN MAN CAN GET DOWN TO JUDAS PRIEST, CAN A BRITISH MAN GET DOWN TO RAMON AYALA????????? FEEDBACK SOMEBODY!!!!!!!!!!

  • @12gshell So, You're just listening to Judas Priest for British people to listen to your Mexican music? I think not!!

    DOn't call me a racist, I'm Mex-American.

  • @robertruizjr100

I like both and can write a sentence without sounding like a drunk. lol.

  • OMG...how come the the most thumbed up are the most naff comments.

  • hmmmm i guess 3 people like justin bieber

  • METAL WILL NEVER DIE!

  • It sounds like classic Priest.

  • cant wait for their concert!!

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say judas priest

You say Hannah Montana, I say Metallica

You say Owl City, I say black sabbath

You say Jonas Brothers, I say iron maiden

You say Justin Bieber, I say fuck him!

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy & paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of metal die

  • The Police sucks. Don't ever mention them with Judas Priest

  • @VideoGameMetal01 The Police are a great band!

  • @VideoGameMetal01 They are good in their own way, but Priest is superior.

  • ..."Stained Class", "Killing Machine", "Unleashed in the east" and "British steel"...the METAL POKER!!!!!

  • good bass line, Ian is really good in this one

  • my fav song on british steel

  • judas priest: the perfection of heavy metal

  • this is one of the greatest metal song's yet written !!!!! period !!! amazing !!! one of priest's best !!! hand's down. any argument's let's have'um !!!

  • Comment removed

  • The intro is fucking amazing!!!

  • From a fireball we came, crossed the sea and mountain. We were drinking beauty with are eyes What a lyric !

  • Halford said he wanted to do a different type of tune-- reggae, metal, hybrid--and Ian came up with that awsome off beat bass intro--KK and Glenn threw in upstroke major chords-- then BOOM!!! the beast erupts and Rob comes in --if you liten to the lyrics you see his struggle of bein a gay dude back all the way in 80--- and nobody noticed!?!?!? LOL-- Bless the Priest--and any homophobe out there ---look in the mirror--HAA Mustaine put it perfectly. ya hate gays cuz you are in the closet!!

  • @wacmac1 I think Many suspected but had a hard time accepting it after he came out. Either way Gay or not Rob is the Metal God,

  • @wacmac1 Did you ever hear Scorpions 'Is There Anybody There'? It has that flavor. 2 bands that rocked from 75-82 that I love are Scorpions and Priest. Iron Maiden owe alot to both bands. Double leads, galloping rhythms, high metal vocals. The only reason people make a big deal out of Rob being gay is because it is metal. If you ask me, I think it goes along great with everything that metal stands for. We are OUTSIDERS because we are metal heads. Rob is a great leader. Better than Ozzy. Robfest!

  • @careypeak23 It does have scorpions groove in the beginning. Someone else said it reminded them of the police. I totally disagree with that.

  • is it me or after the kinda reggae part where that guitar riff kicks in one of the best metal riffs youve heard so powerful

  • is it me or after the kinda reggae part where that guitar riff kicks in one of the best metal riffs youve heard

  • great bass solo (L)

  • boomboom tap boomboom tap boomboom tap... start at the 40 second mark

follow it through the song and let it take you away.

  • i hate thumbs up whores, thumbs up if you agree! ironic huh?

  • cool riff, but the album falls into the commercial category

  • @evilunixuser1 what about the Grinder?

  • @evilunixuser1 i can sum wut agree but the albumns tite dood

  • Yes there are lyrics

  • From a fireball we came, crossed sea and mountain

We were drinking beauty with our eyes

We were given all to make our own

    Let us be left alone

Best Heavy Metal song of all time.

Halford's delivery on this is impeccable.

    Long live the Metal God's.

  • actually this song sounds just like "all moving parts" by black sabbath.

  • This song has been in subconscious since I first heard it back in 1980. This is proably one of Priests greatest songs and they barely ever play it live

  • don't know why, but this kinda reminds me of ''Pain And Pleasure'', lol, great song though

  • I was 18 age, when i heard Judas first time, in Poland was very hard time, now I 48 , and love the same music. I am glad so many younger love Judas too.

  • 30 years ago and it still gets my blood boiling!!! I just love the sound of the guitars. JP Rules!!!!!

  • I agree with JosephKuby. JP is a funny heavy band. They are very subtle compared to other heavy bands. I like them though...

  • British Steel

    30 years today (23/04/2010)

  • did'nt british steel come out before the police even formed

  • I am a diehard METAL Judas Priest fan i seen them im 1979 hell bent for leather tour while they were still a opening act for KISS but anyways this song is A awesome tune very heavy and powerful , the reggae beginnin is just a crescendo to the massive power chords to follow ! they have always stayed true to there tunes and never strayed to far from what they set out to do !!! HELL BENT FOR LEATHER !!

  • Lords of Heavy Metal

  • I love this song.

I'm curious about hard-core JP fans thoughts on this: I always had some mixed feelings about British Steel. It's got some good stuff, but I never thought it measured up to at least 4 of their other albums. But it got more accolades by far. How do you guys feel it compares to, say, Sad Wings ..., Screamin' ..., Hell Bent ..., etc?

  • @gdbenne stained class is my favourite bar far, it is the heaviest poind forpound comapred to anything they did, my 2nd and 3rd favourite are sad wings and painkiller (they are interchangeable)

british steel is the relaxing album for me, the album i show someone who doesnt know priest, after hell bent you can tell they were moving towards simplier songs and simplier riffs, rounding out my top five are this and defender

  • @KustomKulture420 are you kidding me Painkiller is the heaviest priest album by far its faster ...more aggressive and halford is at his all time best...but everyone has their own opinion

  • @xtrmdago718 do you know what pound for pound means?

  • @KustomKulture420 yeah and im saying pound for pound painkiller has it all.....

this album first off is KK downing and glen tipton at their best....halford vocals are unbelievable and you have the introduction of scott travis' fast aggressive drumming(which priest was missing)...and if you think thats an opinion then why has he been the longest running drummer for priest and he beats his other competition by 10 years... for song writing Rob gives you some of the best power metal themes ever.

  • @xtrmdago718 let me spell it out for you, if they re-recorded SC at the same time as painkiller with travis's drums, better production and sounding guitars, with speed metal in mind, the title track would beat painkiller.

painkiller doesnt have it all, where is its comparision to beyond the realms of death? there isnt, stained class has it all lol, its only fault being recorded in the 70s.

  • @KustomKulture420 but thats what if? your not even defending the album. and a Touch Of Evil is the comparison to beyond the realms of death. from the song writting to the intricate guitar work painkiller blows stained class away....and as a final note one of the best songs on the album (atleast top 3) is Better By You Better Than Me and judas priest didnt even write that song...its a cover

  • @xtrmdago718 but thats what piound for pound means, you treat both the same, touch of evil doesnt touch beyond.. better by you is the best? savage has a better note in the intro then any note on painkiller, where is the tribute to rock and roll (heroes end) on painkiller? you may take away from stained class for having a cover, i think pain killer is missing one,

the thing that does it for me though is one shot at glory is kinda filler, SC dont have that

  • @xtrmdago718 another imprtant aspect to remember is that in 1978 NO ONE was doing what was done on stained class, yet painkiller is a response to the speed metal movement garnering attention in the late 80s. just speaks to the uniquness and originality of SC. love the painkiller too.

  • @KustomKulture420 lets agree to disagree lol

    PRIEST RULES?

  • @KustomKulture420

That's right. Stained Class is their best, hands down. And it's their most underrated album ever.

  • Great bass intro

  • Riffs of the gods. Ra-aaa-aa-aa-ge!

  • What singing! Like a lion in a cage...

  • This song is so before its time with the bass line

  • this one sounds like Dio vocal-wise. they all influenced eachother..

  • just fuckin' awesome..

  • this and screaming for vengeance are my favourite priest albums

  • wow ok dont thumb me down but this is a great song it just sounds literally NOTHING like preist. especially the beginning

  • I agree. The intro sounds like The Police.

  • yes, it' s same...

  • @JosephKuby the Police did not invent reggae. There´s nothing wrong with the Priest doing a little bit of reggae

  • I never said they did.

  • @JosephKuby and the main riff sounds like all moving parts by black sabbath.

  • @JosephKuby ...metal reggae

  • @ArmorOfChrist777 just what i was thinking

  • @arrestedshrimp all the years I've been listening to that song and I didn't make the connection till I saw the documentary.. I'm a huge Bob Marley fan too...doh!

  • @ArmorOfChrist777 LOL! Metal Marley!

  • I know huh. So smooth and kick ass.

  • Exactly right! Tight.. almost pop on super steroids. Some chicks even liked it.

    Until you cranked it!!

  • Who would've known just a couple of years later we'd be borrowing Turbo from those same chicks...

  • @arrestedshrimp not thumbing ya down--but if you see the classic album series -British Steel is one album bio,d, you hear the guys repeatedly saying that they took risks all the time and did st not stick to ONE formula and play it safe.Push that envelope ,take a risk--it might sound great--or maybe like shit.if its good Track it and let it be heard!!!!!

  • Watched the British Steel episode yesterday. It was brilliant.

  • @arrestedshrimp That's an odd remark since this tune has always sounded like this, Any priest fan could hear the first few notes and know it was Priest.

  • @arrestedshrimp I saw a documentary on Priest last week...this song was an attempt to fuse metal with reggae. I'd say they succeeded!

  • @arrestedshrimp well the sound of the song was partly inspired by reggae.an unlikely mixture metal n reggae, but priest made it sound awesome.

    \m/

  • @arrestedshrimp

    The first 40 seconds anyway...

  • I have this album..I love it.

  • wtf do you mean, sucks ass?

  • what do you mean by that? This is the real version
