PS3 Slim Unboxing and comparison with PS3 60GB Fatty UK PAL

Is it worth trading in a 60GB launch PS3 for a slim? Just how much quieter and cooler are the slims compared to the 60GB's?

@Typhoon07 The Slim is a lot cooler and quieter than the fat. If you could live without PS2 Backward Compatibility and a memory card reader then the Slim is the superior console

@porsche911carrera4S Cool. My 60GB is making grinding noises and I'm wanting to trade in in to game and pay £140 in cash for the 250GB slim +2 games bundle. Seems a better choice than waiting for it to die and paying Sony £140 for a refurb.

I prefer the slim, simply because it is quieter and and the fact that it can be set to power on both the ps3 and the tv at the same time when you press the PS button makes me like the slim even more. So I would keep the slim.
