My server list isn't working either, but you can manually connect. Go to splatterladder or tracbase and see all the servers. Find the one you want and write down server i.p. Start wolf, hit the tilde key(next to number 1 key) type: /connect 8.9.4.227 then hit enter. Or find another program that displays servers, use google.

@LateDude96 Soldier's for heavy weapons. If you're going to be a soldier with an SMG might as well be an Engineer, a Medic or a Field ops. Those classes have perks that make you a more productive teammate. There was a very present stigma in ET against Soldiers with SMGs, that class was useless. Lol.

Engineers w/ Rifles/Grenade Laucher + landmines + dynamites, Covert Ops w/ Sniper Rifle, landmines spotting. Medical with healing ability. Field ops with Airstrikes and Artillery fire. Does are what I meant by perks.

You get several perks in ET for different classes while you rank up.

All classes recive higher HP however medic recives the highest amount of HP, soldier recives mp40 instead of pistol, field op recives faster regeneraton of energy and reduced energy points for artis or airstirkes which are also doubled for example if lvl 1 field op calls airstirke there will be just 1 bombardment later there will be 2 bombardments.

eh read that but dont call me a noob:I started this game at 2006 and i stopped playing it at 2011.Now i am starting playing mw2 and this game learned alot of shit first in this game some people sprint right and left to avoid bullets i didnt knew i can do that now i am doing that at mw2 too second there is very low accucary at this game because you cant zoom in expect scoped weapons so its harder to take a longshot kill in mw2 this helped me alot of how to use my weapons right whatever weapons ar

I like the actual point of this game; It doesn't matter how much XP people gets, only completing the objective kinda matters. Thats why Nazis might get twice as much kills in few missions where allies need to go somewhere and Nazis are in bunkers shooting at them. But thats war, in some point, the battles go further when Allies captures the objective and blow example some bunker up and then they win, no matter Nazis got more kills. Try to understand XD

@demonnogo Oblivion and modern Fallout games are great, but the sandbox feel of them makes them dry up pretty quick. Half Life 2 is a serious contender. The story was great and the multiplayer was good too, but even with the variety in weapons it never felt like there was much of a reason to change your play style. In contrast the classes in ET demanded different play styles. TF2 is a very serious contender too, especially with the way they've maintained it.

ET is easily the best PC game I've ever played. The multiplayer is unmatched. There's a steep learning curve, but there's also a lot of variety in the gameplay.

But last time I logged in to play it everything was overrun with cheaters, so it wasn't any fun :(

System Shock 2 was a great game too and you could play it co-op, but why play the story more than once?
