I have measure this speed as crotchet = 96 to 100? Recently I had a parent say she was very very dissappointed with my piano accompaniment as I played it at around 110 and not at all fast like the Suzuki recording speed. Does anyone know what speed the Suzuki accompaniment recording is please?
Forgetting the brilliance of the soloist, this is simply not right and not fare on the Red Preist.
This movement is supposed to be played Allegro, and the interpretation her is too slow to be that. Sounds to me more like Allegro moderato, which is not the intended tempo.
Lovely nonetheless, eternal to say the least and moving right from the onset.
Play it at age five or fifty with whatever pride you'll have, but I'll give you five-hundred years to compose anything half as brilliant. What is written by genius takes not genius to perform.
I love this, I love Vivaldi <3

Pienso que en la vida tal como lo indica esta obra de Antonio Vivaldi es mucho mejor la Armonia que el Contrasste. Javier de Concordia, Argentina.-
