You have to appreciate Mark Z for keeping Facebook private (no public IPO). Remember what happened to the final days of Atari? they sold out to Warner Brothers and was broken up and never heard from again. The same could happen to Facebook if they sell (they won't) to AOL or Microsoft. I'm sure Zuckerberg has some good attorneys he hires and listens to, so who cares what his personal opinions (which you haven't heard) are?
@stmpoodle You make a very valid point. I think users hate when companies sell out because I believe the users feel abandoned. No longer being of importance to the creators is what drives that community away, so your point is well taken! I think with the recent and "simplified" privacy changes recently incorporated shows that Zuckerberg is listening, but the future will tell moving forward.
@MrMikeBanks Believe it or not...there's a lot of truth in it. I mentioned in the video big names in the industry that have already left and as of yesterday - Leo Laporte was added to that list. Zuckerberg wants to ignore users privacy, his company will pay for it.
