I hear the Arabic Al Jazeera is indeed like this (exaggeration aside). That is, their news consists to a great extent of the USA vs. "the Islamic world" news. Which I guess panders to their audience. The actual Al Jazeera English is a great news source however. You can detect slight biases like with any other news station but they do a damn good job of keeping unbiased. The Arabic Al Jazeera I have not heard great things about however (from reliable sources). :/

AljazeeraEnglish is an exceptional new channel, far more informative, unbiased and professional than its american counterparts and easily rivals the BBC in quality. Comedy is usually most funny when it parody's reality, this isnt even close to reality.

The irony here is that Aljazeera as a whole was set up to combat the largely anti-american propaganda within the controlled Arab media. It was set up to provide the other side as well, and to approach things fairly and critically. In essence it was setup to combat the very channels this skit is parodying.

Go to their middle east section, now calculate the proportion of articles related to israel compared to non israel. Then compare the size of israel to the size of every other country in the area added together plus israel But thats only if you actually want to answer your own question without bias. Israel is a conflict area. Aljazeera's middle east section also provides in depth coverage of the pakistan conflict, the Iraq war, the Afghanistan war, the Iranian elections, the Lebanese elections etc... When they do focus on Israel, they do a pretty good job of getting the view from both sides, including Israeli spokespeople, university profs, and politicians. But unlike FOX news, they also gets the point of view of Hamas politicians, Palestenian profs, students etc...

I should also add the canadian who runs it used to run the CBC, so he's not an average canadian citizen and knows a thing or two about running a professional news agency. Also if you go to the BBC's middle eastern page, you will also find a lot of articles on Israel.
