Man, I love your style of music. It's this sort of melodic jazz I've always enjoyed as a kid, but I never knew what you would call it, or what genre it was. It was pretty frustrating because it was difficult to find pieces like that.
I'm glad I found your videos. It's too bad they aren't more widely watched...
wow...i like this video and i like all of your video...i'm Rindi from Indonesia.... it is possible to have some of tabs from you, from your video , i would try to play it at home...my email adress is : iin_hijrah@yahoo.com.... Thank you for your help...
Hello I'm Peter. I'm beginning to play Jazz-Guitar. I only play with tabs. Is it possible to have such kinds of tabs? This arpeggio is so great and I would try to play it on my guitar. My Email adress is peter [add] krnavek.de. Thank you for your help
Thanks for recording this and posting it. This is a beautiful and educational demonstration. I've been working on it for about a week and it has transformed my playing. Your attack and tone is inspiring as well. Is this a Greg Fishman Etude? Please share whatever you can about it.
Thanks! I am glad you liked it, if you want to go step further, try playing arpeggios in various positions, harmony is very typical. Actually I composed it! :)
Don't underestimate the value of these little compositions that you've created. I've been playing those arpeggios for decades. Though they've been useful in keeping my fingers loose, my ability to actually apply them on the fly has been very limited. By assembling them in this tasteful way, and in a 2-5-1 cycle, you've opened up new pathways for my fingers. Plus, as I learn them, I find myself emulating your tone! Your clean attack. This is good valuable stuff. You're a teacher!
One other thing: Part of the value of what you offer here is, that you show how the arpeggios can begin to actually sound like a solo. ...the little passing tones & stuff... It's kind of a conceptual bridge from theory to practice.
Once I get this thing under my fingers, I'm going to video it and post it, but slower, for the less advanced. I'll give you full credit. If it meets your standard, you can post it on your channel.
It is a good practise for me. Thanx !
