actually i prefer to use the preasure relief valve as a means of dealing with flashbacks. i have foundflash arrestors to be unreliable, and to restrictive for the gas volumes i use.
If you get the timing tuned in, that engine is gonna purr like a kitten. Did you get an adjustable plate for the coil or are you gonna remove the key and turn the flywheel?
WOW! I gotta go back and watch your other vids to compare, but I think the engine is running better? Its hard to tell from the audio. Are you hearing anymore knock? I think you may still be getting some from timing, but the engine seems to sound better to me, or at least better than mine did :) I wish i could have been there to see it in person. You are da man at this point.
i have not got the plate made yet to move the coil. i could not spend the money on that with out knowing wheather or not the engine would last. for now im just taking your lead and removing the flywheel key.
im really starting to think about jarboe's mil for next year, would love to see you there
hey man,you need a frashback arrestor, please search in Youtube

fuel setting are trick arent they :)
sounds like too much vacuum on the fuel supply its pulling the hho off the cell faster than its being made, at first, then it gets tuned in.
Great job looks to be a good test bed.

If you listen at 4:34 and compare to this vid: /watch?v=GKKnZnQWtrU& at 3:04 you can definitely tell the difference.
