@DoctorObviously The truth is, it's not a children's game at all. Well, at least the first two games. They actually do offer a dark storyline and an atmosphere with some humorous lines thrown here and there. Just because there isn't any blood or guns it doesn't make it a kid's game. The atmosphere was toned down for later sequels, however, and the series became a lot more cartoony; but this is a remix of a track seen in the first game in the franchise so your statement was actually false.

@FalancaEchidna Eh. I don't know. I played it as a child, and made it through the whole game. While I agree it isn't a particular good game for young children, your teen level audience probably would have gotten a kick out of it, and understood a few more jokes then I did at the time. I think it follows a nice Lucas tradition of being something the everyone could enjoy. I just don't think most children would make it past the problem solving, though.

I think that the Lucasarts adventure games, can be enjoyed by anyone. Its just that kids probably wont pick up on the references that older people will know, and may need to be shown how to approach adventure games if they havent played anything by Humongous.
