well, in the first season, he was up against zero when he was trying to get suzaku back (he was charged for murrdering Prince Clovis ) and to confuse Jeremiah he said to give him suzaku or he would tell everyone about "orange" Basically this confused the crap out of everyone and eventually drove him a little insane because everyone started calling him orange.
if u look back in the first few episodes when suzaku was framed for killing Clovis and zero said "don't make me recall orange" and that was just something random lelouch made up but people just geussed it was smething bad so...orange boy
It's changed to Orange boy in the english dub, but in the original japanese, Lelouch uses Orange "-kun," which indicates a certain level of familiarity, thus implying that Jeremiah was working with the terrorists. The "orange" part was completely arbitrary.
