  • This incredible series is fully available on youtube?! Amazing!!!!!!

  • one of those rare times i've seen a lefty in an anime

  • One of my favorite anime series ever. This series is better in the subbed version. The english dub loses some of the impact...

  • This seems pretty good so far. Very different from normal animes these days :)

  • This is pretty and soothing but a little on the dull side. I really appreciate the art and all but is there any action in this? I'm feeling the need for speed!

  • This reminds me a bit of Princess Mononoke

Anyone here seen that film and agree with me?

  • Are the Mushi based on Kami?

  • Yeah if any of you are interested in Shinto I would recommend the Catalpa Bow but after reading that I don't think it is very good compared to Korean Shamanism -Muism by Dr. Kim Tae-Kon and Dr. Chang Soo-Kyung. A lot of the same beliefs as Shinto but more clearly elucidated. There is little difference between the two the practice is much the same. and Dr. Wilhelm Reich is a very interesting scientist who discovered an empathy based energy he called Orgone; very similar to reiki.

  • @TrollOvGrimness I firmly believe this stuff is real. And this wonderful anime showcases those beliefs in more than one episode. the metaphor comes very close

  • This opening makes me want to murder something >:O

  • @immortalchord

Really it gives me the exact opposite feeling

Or are you just trying to be funny?

  • I love how shinto-esque this anime is.

  • 17:00 sounds like music from the Chemical Brother's soundtrack for Hanna

  • 04:06 "yeah i saw it with my own eyes"

they should fix it to eye cuz he only had one

  • I remember when my friend tried to explain what weed was like for the first time. Really couldn't grasp it until I did it myself. I guess that's a similar experience where it's hard to explain to someone else ;/

  • @DEIMOSLOL O.O

  • @DEIMOSLOL mmm, there are many things like this in life, which words to not do enough to explain, in which words are not enough for. and, well, however, sometimes, there are metaphors in which we can use to try and convey something. As, if you look at your life, you will realize everything is through metaphor.(like the analogy in the beginning there)

  • i thought this was gonna be in english fuck fuck fuck this sucks on ice but i love the theme sojg its amazeballs

  • @FlapjacksBFF nooooo! that's why the word sub is in the title... -_- funimation does have the dub tho if you look it up

  • @EmoLady123 otay thanks

  • @FlapjacksBFF

u cant read? its say SUB. -.-

  • Two words:amazing.

  • so his grandmother is brought back to life but as a young girl. wow.

  • Hm..I read the line at 22:17 as "We didn't do to much thanks to him" ...Implied incest at "why are you both so shy now" then that...I'll be looking for some 34 if anyone needs me.

  • @RainfallFantasy :-P "We didn't do too much, thanks to him. I feel bad, I feel bad..." Haha!!

  • god i hate subs

  • @howlingdarkness Sucks you can't read comfortably while watching the episode. Maybe one day if you try hard enough, they will pull you out of the "special classes" and you will no longer be half a retard! Yay!

  • @jddeitz2000 i also hate condescending weeboos, i'm not going to learn japanese just to watch tv, these shows aren't THAT good.

  • @howlingdarkness

    It's called subtitles dude.

  • @jddeitz2000 yeah, but then I miss some of the more subtle details.

  • @howlingdarkness what ya talking bout?

     :D

  • @animelover3083 you miss stuff if you're staring at the bottum of the screen the whole time and i like the show enough to want to know what's going on.

  • @howlingdarkness .... talking about me....or u?

  • @animelover3083 what? Me moron, why would i be talking about you. go back and re-read the conversation.

  • @howlingdarkness It shouldn't take more than 2.5 seconds to read one line of text going across the whole screen. And if your brain is capaple of doing 2 things at once, you should be able to see the whole screen during that time.

  • @jddeitz2000 granted, but i enjoy it more in my native tongue anyway, and the real issue here you being an ass to people who don't watch subs. chill out ,not everyone is a massive nerd.

  • @howlingdarkness

Read what I said to the guy below. I have many reasons to hate dubfags. They are the cancer killing anime. I'll add that the U.S. voice actors are terrible most of the time.

Also I'm not an uber-nerd, just a moderate one.

  • @jddeitz2000 hold on, do you know what autistism is right? it's not a mental impairment, autistics are generally intelligent, just socially inept. that said about 80% anime sucks anyway, so in most cases, the voice acting isn't that big of an issue and even then, they're cartoons. if people wanting to watch tv in their own language really bothers you, you got problems. me , I'd rather have dubs for better or worse to the industry.

  • @howlingdarkness if you're referring america dubs, then you must have some kind of mental illness that takes from you the auditory-sense perception ability-that can identify unpleasant and awfully cheesy voiceovers when one is present. ie, the majority of all americans.

  • @oli0880 haven't you ever seen a tarantino film, being cheesy is a plus, and it's still preferable to listening to them yammer on in japanese. but whatever personal preference and all that, i watch tv to relax, i read books for fun, and doing both at once isn't as fun or relaxing. if the industry is dying it's its own fault for making fandubing illegal

  • @howlingdarkness 'yammering on in japanese'?! you fool, its made by japanese, so why should it be corrupted with cheese.. same goes for tarantino, you wouldnt want japanese dubs on a tarantino now would you? each to their own, i agree with that. and care not about industries. just the animes themselves in their own respect.

  • @oli0880 i don' care who made it, i don't feel like watching subs.

  • @oli0880 You're the fool. American movies are commonly dubbed in the native language of the country the are being viewed in. Hell, I've watched Avatar in Hindi when I visited my cousins in India. Did I throw a bitch fit over that? No. Do you know why? Because it's nothing to get this worked up over. The only people I've seen getting their panties in a twist over this bullshit is internet anime fans who perpetuate this ridiculous sub vs dub rivalry. Don't like dubs? Awesome, don't watch it.

  • @jddeitz2000 Obviously you're not even a moderate nerd because you still believe that the brain can accurately and efficiently multitask. Neuroscience has disproved this little myth- quite awhile ago.

There really wasn't any reason to attack howlingdarkness over hating subs and definitely no reason to throw your little diva tantrum bitch fit.

  • The art and the music are increadibly stunning

  • @flimmii07 your mom is increadibly stunning

  • this is a very calming anime so far.

  • WHY ARE THERE COMMERCIALS ON EVERYTHING NOW??? if I wanted them I would watch tv

  • @LiSwtSLaS

Commercials make it free. Either there are ads, or you pay a subscription fee. Streaming costs a shitload of money, as does producing and translating anime. Get over yourself.

  • @zynthysys woah sorry! I'm over it I just appreciate it. Not to mention it wasn't here till recently and I don't understand why now. That is all

  • @LiSwtSLaS the commercials have been there for a while but they aren't on every video. When you get them it is just bad luck. I get them on normal every day videos that aren't on partner channels!!!

  • @zynthysys r u serious???

  • @kissyface93

Do you think that they produce and translate anime as an act of charity?

  • @zynthysys

of course not, but you dont need to be a smartass

  • @zynthysys

Fansubbers do it for free, and in better quality. And have the episodes the same day they're released usually. So unless you're stuck with a wii browser, like me, download your anime like any normal person who isn't a serious noob.

  • @jddeitz2000

Fansubbing is understandable for un-licensed anime, but once licensed, it is stealing. Not because it violates the copyright, but because the product is available for free -- but only if whiners like YOU can sit through a couple commercials. Honestly, people like you are the reason that the anime industry is dying.

  • @zynthysys

What are you even talking about? Commercials? I don't watch commercials anywhere, stolen or not stolen.

And the people killing the anime industry are the autistic faggots that can't read and cry for dubbed anime. You know how much it costs to dub one fucking anime series? That's the reason anime costs $25-$30 for 2 or 3 episodes. As a result, no one is buying it. Funimation is trying to change that, and I'm thankful for that, but the damage has already been done.

  • I love the crazy facial expressions and how calm the entire thing is.

  • Yay! I love Mushi-shi! :D
