  • Fuck!!!I just remembered I was at this show..Deep Ellum rocked back then...and so did shit that made me forget most of it.

  • WOW!!! FUCKING WOW!!! Zak screaming Like JON and Jon beating the fucking shit out of the drums while Criss shreds lika a Demon.. damn this video is a GEM. Holy Fucking Shit I love IT!!!!!! This band is unlike any other.

  • Normally im rather a John oliva fan, but zak's got balls to sing this Song & he totally fucking reigns in this vid!!! Fucking kickass!! Epic song!

  • i had birthday at 7years in this show...hehe

  • I saw them twice Gutter Ballet 1990 and 12/19/91 I got to meet Criss Oliva on the Streets tour ...He was so laid back, gracious and down to earth. What a super cool guy. Never saw this line up with Zak live but these TX vids all shred. Criss was a great musican!!! One of my all time favs. R.I.P

  • wtf is friend with Chris ......... Chris has been dead for 17 years now ....

  • @Laki05051986 and @realkman666 Chris Caffery obviously,Oliva's name was CRISS

  • @ApoMastorakos At least someone knows how the actual spelling of Criss' name goes.

  • I love savatage even though I am only 19. My girlfriend is really good friends with Chris, I have met him a couple times and hung out with him. He is so cool.

  • @HerrTrigger00 Chris who?

  • Yes, this was at Dallas City Limits. I was there with my uncle, over on the left side of the video about 8 rows back. Zakk's vocals were amazing, and Criss' guitar playing was just searing. They opened the show with Edge of Thorns. I specifically remember Holocaust and Hounds as being standout performances. I ripped a Savatage flyer off the wall and got a few of the guys to sign it after the show ended. RIP Criss, one of the greatest guitarists ever to live.

  • isn't that jon on drums?? omg!! awesome

  • Was this recorded at Dallas City Limits? Almost looks like it but I remember the stage being deeper. Looks DCL, or was this filmed at The Basement? And also, how the hell did you get this????

  • is not jon oliva

    is not good

  • Jon wasn't doing vocals with the band at this point was he. I like this but Savatage with Jon just is something special.

  • Amazing!!!

  • great song.

  • Thanks! This is great!

  • I think I have this video. I'm more partial to Oliva's vocals than Stevens, but damn, he does a good job anyway.

  • That was kick ass! I haven't seen that one live very often, and never with Zack singing. He did it quite well, and Criss well as always smoked it. Thanks so much for posting this

  • The writer of Savatage music is a musical genius...

  • A lot goes thru my mind listening to that: That track is perhaps one of the bands most underrated, Criss and Wes sound very impressive on backing vox and Andy James just slayed on the drums! Thanks for posting!

  • who are Wes and Andy James in savatage ?

  • Wes Garren played guitar and keys and sang back-up and Andy James played drums on the EOT '93 tour. They were "touring members" only. Neither one has had any involvement with Savatage before or after that tour.
