They may be shitty hilux diffs in the front of the 90 model on, but there is a difference , they are a high pinion diff which makes them much stronger going forward and a bit weaker going in reverse. Anyway after 443000km in the old girl with out a broken diff either end i'd say that they are strong enough. The pre 90 models had the same front and rear 8.5" diffs in them

@TheMarshy72 hilux front diff in this 75. dont think so mate, any leaf sprung cruiser has not got hilux center. even if it did, longfield axls/cvs and you have your self a strong and reliable diff.
