Just out of curiousity, do you get the carbine (automatic human weapon) in the story mode. I am a decent way through the game and have not yet seen it. I only ask this because normally it is one of the first if not first gun you have in the other two games. If anyone could let me know I would appreciate it.

I think that M5A2 Carbine is the best gun in this game because I played with this gun a lot and got many kills with that thing

it's my reason why prefer to use this gun

The online pass is there because Sony is tired of gamestop pawning off their games. While yes, it hurts some gamers, it's completely understandable. Sony and the game creators receive no profit... It's not right. So yes I believe that they didn't fully think it through, they should have made it so one game can be used on 2/3 systems or something like that. Gamestop may be awesome, but it really isn't fair for Sony. ALSO, those installs shouldn't have been so bad. Bad connection?

i bought a ps3 with the game.

on the back of the manual there's a code.

i needed to go to the ps3 store and somewhere type the code to go and play online.

and this way i got the multiplayer online for free.

you should have played the game a little more and lvled some weapons before you did this gun review. because why would there be a lvl system for weapons in the first place. they are not gonna be the best at first, like the carbine i think its perect but secondary isnt one shot kill on the third upgrade it is because it shoots 3 grenades instead of one.

@benjy619 That's why it was the beginner guns guide.. Letting the players know what's up about the guns that you have close to when you first start the game. This was aimed at players that just picked up the game.

@yoerross hmm not sure if it's the location or because you bought the game. When you buy the games here it comes with a code, but I rented it so I had to cough up the money to access multiplayer

OMG, no! In R3, you don't... I repeat, DON'T... show up on the radar when you run. That's only in RFoM and R2. You only show up on radar in R3 if you shoot your gun, or if someone sets up a Radar beacon.

Ha you're complaining about a 60+ min download and a ten dollar pass? Try playing the Space Marine multiplayer and that will give you something to complain about. Oh wait, you wouldn't be able to because the developers were dumb enough to release the game before they even ensured that the multiplayer worked. Man, I wish I would have gotten this instead.

@Jollyballz5000 Yea, I felt that way about resistance for a bit, major lag issues and what not but it does run at least. I don't understand why they don't push games like Space Marine back a few months and work exclusively on making the multiplayer a clean experience, :~/

Good vid dude. Maybe it's because I play too many games, or cause I only played R2 co-op, but I never knew sprinting made you show up on the map! Just wanted to add the marksman with the 2nd and 3rd upgrades is beast. The scope is great for mid to long range but kills it's up close capabilities. There's always firing from the hip at that point. Additionally once the turret is upgraded it does significantly more damage. Looking forward to your coverage of the higher level weapons :o)

@ownedbytamater shoulda just bought it its cheaper then normal retail price for games plus its totally worth every cent, to be honest renting would be the worst thing to do for any game. its like buying a game having it for a while, then either if its shit, you spent that money on nothing, if you like it and want to buy, you have to spend even more money? thats why you just check out gameplay and trailers from others who really have the game and are experienced players or reviews.

@benjy619 Honestly, I don't buy games unless I know for a fact i'm going to be spending hours on the multiplayer. I can usually destroy a single player campaign in a few days time unless it's really long like Final Fantasy. Not all games catch my attention in multiplayer. This one wasn't bad, but after completing my guides I probably wouldn't play it all that much, way to many games coming out between now and late November. So all of those games you suggest that I buy?

@ownedbytamater singleplayer is where its all at man, especially for a resistance title i got resiistance because i loved the singleplayer story and multiplayer was great to with coop, as for r3 multiplayer that was rad to, and i loved the new customization in the game. plus you should stop renting you not only failed from everything in my old statement, but you had to buy codes for online, and now nearly every game is gonna have multiplayer codes, it definatly wont help renters.

@benjy619 I never said single player wasn't where it was at... Just saying why pay $60 to play a single player no matter how amazing it is and beat it in a few days. Most single players I play through once or twice if I like enough to go back through on the hardest difficulty, and at most the total process will usually take less then a normal 5 day rent for $8. I realize that the online codes won't help renters, won't stop me from renting though unless I know I will go back and play the game.

Not all video makers are widely experienced in a game when they make a video, this video wasn't saying I thought I was amazing or the best player in the world. It was just saying that these are some helpful things I noticed when I first got into the game that might help you when you first start playing.

@ownedbytamater you missed out on a lot of things about the starter weapons and tips, and renting plus giving tips could be worse cause you wont get the full experience for long experience takes time as i have played older resistance titles even psp ones i would be pretty eligible for a resistance guide, in a good number of ways.

@benjy619 That's fine, like I said several times, this is what I noticed when I first picked up the game. Yes I realize that other people have different opinions about guns, perks, etc. and I probably missed some stuff, this is Basic coverage, It was mainly meant for my subscribers or new players. Never did I say I am an expert nor do I think it am but if you think you are so qualified by all means make one. That's the beauty of Youtube, more then one person can make a video about the same topic

FYI.. download shouldnt take that long.. it took me like 3 mins. I actually just fixed my wireless network to make it work this well... just use the mixed signal option on your router,.. and have your computer/laptop connected at the same time. What happens is your laptop/computer assists the download, and it goes literally like 10X faster than what i used to get with just PS3 on network by itself.. didnt know if this would help anyone for future reference.. i love it
