  • What song is that at the beginning

  • As far back as age 7 when my family moved back home to Tennessee, Dan Miller's was the face that came to mind whenever WSMV or Channel 4 was mentioned. He always possessed a knowledgeable and authoritative, yet humble and down to earth manner- not an easy presentation to make. It will never be the same without you on the tube, Dan. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to your family at this time. We will all miss you greatly.

  • It's a sad day for Nashville, one of those days that stays in your memory. Dan was a rock, someone we always depended on to be honest and straightforward. I feel like I have lost a friend.

  • We will miss you, Dan.

  • When I think of Nashville news, two people primarily come to mind - Dan Miller and Chris Clark. I grew up watching these Nashville media legends. It was a sad day watching Dan's final newscast before his move to California, but his first newscast upon coming back home was a joyous return for the midstate area.

Dan's delivery of the news was warm... perhaps a bit 'homey'... and utterly trustworthy. He will be GREATLY missed.

Watching Demetria tonight shall be most difficult, indeed.

  • Dan, you were an ICON in Middle Tennessee. The state is in mourning.

  • R.I.P. Dan, you´ll be missed so much of all who watches WSMV News in the future without you. My condolences to your family and to your friends.

  • My family growing up have always watched channel 4 news. I grew up watching Dan and Demetria. I was at a Vandy football game year before last and was excited to see Dan Miller and his young daughter sitting a few rows ahead of me. Dan Miller, you will be terribly missed. My condolences to the WSMV team and his family and friends. We'll be thinking of you during this difficult time.

  • R.I.P. Dan....you will be missed. -Amy in Murfreesboro

  • I can not imagine watching the news and Dan Miller not being there to anchor it.

He was one of those people that, even though I never met him, felt like one of the family.
