I saw them about 7 months before this show, and there were even less people in the audience and less people jumping around. They were just getting known. i think that alot of mcr fans, like the older stuff better because it has alot more angst and it's dealing with alot of the problems they had in the old days, and you can really feel it throughout the first two records. Not that TBP is bad, but it just doesn't have the same sound. I think alot of us can relate better to their older music because of things in life we're going through, or feelings that we have.

i'm new to MCR, so i think it's only natural that i'd like their newer stuff like Black Parade.

But i was watching lots of other videos of them, and i think Gerard has become much more mature since he first started. i think (please correct me if i'm wrong) that their old style was due, in part, to the fact that Gerard used to be an alchoholic. and now that he has his head on straight, the band's style has changed to reflect that.

so maybe the 'new' MCR style is actually a good thing?
