This is my favorite video, the way he describes it is exactly what I was going through, except his daytime hallucinations are much more intense. I've never heard anyone put it in a way that was so right on for what it's like for me. Everyone's experience with it is different, so it's interesting to see what it's like for different people.
(cont) I never knew why i was going through all this extra stuff,it freaks me out because id feel crazy and now thanks to u i can understand why im going through it.I was diagnosed like 6yrs ago,i hate living like a prisionor.I dont dare go anywhere bc i dont have the energy. Thanks for sharing ur story.I hope the zyrem worked out 4u.I was taking it but i stopped because it would make me feel so hungry.Take care.
I always try to find different people with narcelpsy to compare their symtoms with mine and i would always see a huge difference,to be honest i would see my narcelepsy 20x worse then theirs.I came accross this video of your story and its like everything you experience as far as narcelepsy i can relate to bc its everything im going through.Only i can never describe what is happening to me.Your story has helped me to know how to explain what im going through.I always see stuff, the voices, bugs ect.
I avoid going anywhere because I'm afraid of my next dream attack. Sucks I have really missed out on life. I am a prisoner. But I can't take drugs because it effects my creativity. I just want to be me.
Excellent video - thanks for this. Whatever employers say, managing narcolepsy for me has always been hidng it. I take 100mg modafinol late morning and this gives me a focussed afternoon. I am convinced certain food groups dont help, but there is liitle evidence out there to support this, but I avoid them and this helps.
Good luck with it, as you say there are many worse things to live with - you are not alone here !!
