ce soliste est beaucoup technique que musical. Il y a un manque de musicalité dans le 2eme et 3eme mouvement. Le piccolo empeche la rondeur et la fluidité du song. Cet instrument convient parfaitement pour les symphonies de gustav Malher par exemple.
I have heard him several time in Live concert... lately in taipei August 2007... It's just amazing... What a talent.. He should be on the 1st stage of all trumpet players... recenly also, in Korea, he gave 5 concerts in 10 days with not less that: Tartini(3mvt), Haydn (3mvt), Vivaldi for 2 tpt (1mvt with local trumpet player), Tomasi, Best of France & Encore Macarena.. and all this in 5 concerts in a row..; I say: BRAVO ERIC
Great sound.... Piccolo is not as easy as it looks.
The third movement sounded a little bit odd though.

ich würde aber eher sagen dass er alles mit kraft spillt
nicht so wie Reinhold Friedrich, der neben exellenter technik das stück noch mit leidenschaft rüber bringt :-)

Auf der Piccolo hat Aubier aber nur technik,keine Musik------Vergleich mal mit Uwe Komischke,er spielt das viel Schöner auf seine Muk Piccolo.
