  • the relationship* sorry :/

  • lmao I think its funny how some people are like "...woah woah woah is she RAPPING????" lol that is hilarious. but still the lyrics remind me of a relationship I'm in. her song is helping me make a stand

  • OK so the instruments and vocal are classical but the composition is R&B?

    Emilie I love you. <3

  • This reminds me a mite of Destiny's Child...in a really really good way :)

  • @jazzikification

Yeah... it reminds me of Bills bills billls... except more epic...

  • I love this piano solo at the beginning <3<3 ;__;

  • Oh no anti-mainstream comments here? oh BOORING :P

  • I love musicians who trying different styles. I think its even better, then those who sings always the same.

I think the only musicians I know who have more styles the her is Devin Townsend

those two are my most favorite musicians.

  • @ROUsaurus dont forget bjork

  • @rococoness Go Björk!!!!

  • I released a video game a few months ago with the same font in its title screen. Could anyone tell me what it is, I would like to use it again.

  • The change of the sound came from Opheliac, this is way much old, this is her first style, and i love it!

  • @JewelAngel and so is your life.

  • Kinda sounds like GTA4 soundtrack

  • this song is so GOOD.

  • this sounds like Beyoncé oO

  • @Shniedelwoodz i wouldn't say that, but her voice definitely sounds HUGELY different here compared to Opheliac, or anything else for that matter. Maybe it's just because she was going for a different atmosphere, or maybe it was just age.

  • @wingedzephyr What a beautiful font you use! What is it called?

  • this song is 3:06 long

  • I LOVE ME SOME EMILIE AUTUMN AND HER MUSIC... nuff said <3

  • i got everyone to be quiet in my class just by sing this. It's such a hypnotizing song everyone stared

  • but I´ve seen a video live from 2011 where she sings WHAT IF..its from enchant..

  • she needs to make another album like ENCHANT!!!! <33

  • @Toshiya231 enchant was a great album but that was a dark time in her life. which is why she does not perform those songs anymore.

  • @lilith551 a dark time? what does it mean?

  • @Toshiya231 well enchant was made i believe after she was locked up in the asylum. she was in one for a while. it explains it in an interview "holding the key to the asylum emilie autumn"

  • @lilith551 Actually, she was locked up after. In her book a doctor kept hitting on her and once he went into her room and took out lyrics to Marry Me and showed them to Emilie. He circled the inapropriate parts and asked her if the lyrics were a sexual preference. So im guessing it was after, because she stated in the book that she had to finish her album when she was locked up so maybe she was working on Opheliac at that time.

  • @OldHollywoodFan i just bought the book, i have not had time to start reading it, but thank you for the clarification :)

  • @lilith551 No problem:)! I always thought she was locked up after the Enchant era! I learned alot from her book!

  • How strange, I think I broke my replay button...

  • This is so beautiful, why isn't she popular, she totally deserve a lot of fame...

  • I don't come when you call

I don't try to be nice

    I don't care afterall

    I don't take your advice

    I don't answer your prayers

I don't do as you say

    Love if you really care

You'd better find another way ...

  • @TwilightRP My favorite part. ^^

  • When most people try different genres, their songs sound nothing alike. It's hard to believe they're even by the same artist.

Not the case with EA. Though different from most of her songs, you can still tell that this is her by her distinct vocals and lyrics.

    <3

  • EA can do any style of music, I have been convinced <3

  • i just started listening to her today and i cant stopp

  • This song stucked on replay

  • she mixed gothic music with pop i think =]

  • i am new to Emily Au, i would agree with you ShatteredKB B) i thouggt this one sounds Japan Kariokey style ment in an admiring way ^^; xoxo

  • I absolutely love the fact that she can sing in many styles. It's not possible to bore of her music because she does so many different types! It's one of the reasons she one of my most favorite singer. Even though I sing classic originally, I love covering J-Pop, and I love rock and ballads. If I ever became a professional singer, I'd want to sing lots of different genres, just like Emilie. <33

  • plague.

  • or Angelspit... i suppose if you listen to them you could be a maggot but slipknots singer calls his fans maggots so

  • this song is dedicated to every guy who has ever hit on me.

and when she says "I don't take your advice" when I first heard it I seriously thought she was saying "I don't take your headlights"...... even stranger, I thought it made sense in some way.

  • I love this song. How strange indeed.

  • She is.... that's.... it's.... it's kinda rap and hip hop....... the rap and hip hop that is in the radio is horrid and unimaginative and vulgar. But this.... this proves that you can actually sing and rap in a way that shows how intelligent and imaginative and poetic and personal you can be. Emilie is a true artist, she takes any style and is always poetic with them all. She is a music goddess!

  • @7izanami2 its not rap, thats frivolous

  • @Pikaachu13 Oh now I see what you did there. xD

  • @Pikaachu13 Sorry but when did she rap? She was singing the entire time.

This song is still excelent. I love Emilie. <3

  • I didn't even have to "like" it to know I would "like" it.

  • this song resembles my life 100%

  • I love this. It's like a 90s pop song that isn't total shit. :D

  • I don't mean to be a troll. But I seem to be the only person watching these videos, and does NOT find Emilie a total goddess. Yes! She's got some good ones! But Jesus Christ, you guys act like her birth was the second coming D:-

  • @jojogirlknuckles112 I understand, but I don't think THAT many people see her as a goddess. I see her as a very good singer.

Although there are some people who idolize celebrities too much. :/

  • @oliviazski13 I'm a Maggot and a Plague Rat aswell..Pulse of the Raggots? o.O

  • I showed my grandpa her songs and he like them

  • ...is this emilie autumn doing an RnB song

  • I am a Plaugue Rat, and I am proud.

  • this does sound like survivor by destiny's child, but a much darker more better version!

  • i love this xD

  • Love this song!

  • This song kind of reminds me of Lily Allen :)

  • @AnziInWonderland oh thank god, I thought I was the only one *sigh of relief* :DD

  • Perfection.

  • @IlosovicStayne

By the way, love the username! 0_ <3

  • @IlosovicStayne

    By the way...love your username!

  • hyi helvetti, gooteilla on matoja pillussa hyi helvetti

  • aiiii como la amo!

  • Sounds different from her usual, but I love it!

  • SHE IS TRAINING MY BRAIN

just found a thing that makes me feel good - i feel im getting somewhere and getting better at listening and understanding things. do i get that in the very little short time the words slip over her lips? maybe... maybe...

  • EA trying different styles is not wrong, just means she is more open-minded and brave than most artists out there...

    I love her for that...

  • I think I speak for all Plague Rats here, EA is a goddess :3

  • Emilie Autumn gone hip hop? :)

  • One's love for Emilie Autumn depends on the broadness of one's mind.

  • I feel sorry for the current generation...Being carried away from REAL MUSIC, such as the wonders of Emilie Autumn. But they want a mainstream life, fuck 'em, let 'em, PLAGUE RATS SHALL RULE THE WORLD!

  • I'm really digging her music.. first time i have ever heard of it and have fallen in love with it

  • haha i finally found the perfect song to dedicate to that "special" person :)

  • I, a maggot, have made love to a plague rat. So, my beloved offspring resembles a...Plague Raggot.

    ruck un bishessss

  • @NintenFan0900 lol that's great

  • @NintenFan0900 OHMAHGOD A PLAGUE RAGGOT. xD We need more tiny Plague Raggots!

    And it's weird because I'm a maggot and a plague rat. o__o

  • @NintenFan0900 by maggot do you mean you listen to GWAR or something ive heard of plague rat but maggot i only know of GWAR and slipknot......?!?!?!?

  • @NintenFan0900

    Haha. I can relate XD

  • @NintenFan0900 Does that mean you like SLIPKNOT (O_o)

  • @ImPrettyReckless14

Of course it does. And honestly, I'm not a big follower of Emilie here, I just thought the conjunction of the two names was a neat gag.

  • @NintenFan0900 I love you hahaha

  • Is it weird that when I'm sleeping I actually DO dream of her?

  • this sounds like early 2000s pop music.. which is the only kind of pop music I like. xD emilie is just... brilliant.

  • heh.. wow. not wat i normally listen to. but, THIS IS EPIC :D

how could i hav gone 13 years of my life with out this?

  • What CD is this off of?

  • @xGrenadexJumperx78x Enchant :)

  • This song was playing on my computer when my girlfriend and I made love this morning. It's really intense.

  • @CalestaWillis Naughty girl.

  • @MrJackLegend You know you like it, and I still say the "Mister" in front of your name makes you sound old. Love you though.

  • @CalestaWillis Thanks for information :'D

  • What's strange about this song is how different it is from the Opheliac album.

  • Still reminds me of the Tracy Beaker theme! ♥

  • Hmmm...I've heard this somewhere..

  • nice

  • EA is amazing, she has so many different styles but no matter what, her voice is still enchanting

  • i love this song its so pretty n well written

  • How about who cares what this is; it's Emilie, and I love her, and it.<3 Enchant is one of the most beautiful albums I have ever been privileged to hear.

  • ...am I the only one who just got the shock of my life upon reading all the comments claiming that this apparently is a rap?

    It's just.. not Emilie Autumn-y.

  • Love this song. So does my little sister.

  • @alicecullen091 This is your OLDER sister. Leave Elizabeth out of this my dear. She's been listening to this stuff longer then the both of us.

  • Beautiful Rap, Thats REALLY hard to find,

    Thank you Emilie Autumn.

  • wow i think i jus fell in love with this song, i love her old music but this jus sounds so pretty for her style cuz its simply amazing

  • She's as good as Eminem.Thats alot ot be said from me.

  • @alyacb1899

seriously, you fucking kidding me yeah? -.-

  • She changed... And it made me happy.

Then again, it might just be that she makes me happy by being who she is and creating the music she creates, so I shouldn't think to much about it.

  • I love how she took the half mainstream road with this song. Trying to bridge the gap, eh?

  • Her range is simply incredible, not just voice, but styles... Enchant had lots of soft songs, then she went a bit jazzy and now R&B and Industrial/Metal. And all with the same type of EA flair.

I wonder if she'll try country next.

  • @VictoriaxDyllan If she did i think i'd die of pure happines! :)

  • it's definitely R&B

  • its always hard to find a musician....no an Artist that can put themselves into different music mediums... from Pop, to Violindustrial, shes just pure awesomeness

Go the Plague Army... EA for President 2012 ^.^

  • She raps better than Lil Wayne, and 50 cent.

  • Love you Emilie!

  • It seems like she tried to make a mainstream-ish type song for someone who tried to get her to be more mainstream...like to make fun of them? idk thats what this song makes me think.

  • Emilie should replace all the crappy rappers on the charts

  • Did that take 3 minutes? It only felt like 3 seconds!

  • Bet she could make lil wayne look like a fool! Emilie can spit lyrics. lol!

  • theres another song by someone else that has a song with a similar rythm but i cant think of it....

  • @FudgeUrself Yeah it does seem familiar somehow..

  • Fuhk sakes...

I keep pressing the replay button!

    I looovvveee tthhhiiisss sssoonnngg!

Alot better then other music yaah mahhn! :D

  • I swear I heard this in the roller rink a few years back 0.0

  • I hear a Destuinys Child influence?

  • uhm uhm *stares at the comments for a second* wtf?... lol people are so uhm...whats the word...S-T-U-P-I-D... ha so anyways i love this woman right here *points to EA* she just brings out the worst & best in me her music speaks true to me so i know i'm not the only crazy one out there (sometimes) she is very gorgeous & pretty :D *looks at Ea agian* well i could say so much more (or less) because she is to hmmm amazing for words... you must first feel then realize <3
  • Darkwave R&B? More please.

  • Emilie does what ever the hell she wants with music style and I love it! <3

  • Look! Here I am, defending rap music for the 34752th time. -_-

    Trash? Not sophisticated? Fuck you.

You don't have to like it, but grow up and show some respect for these artists who pour their heart into their music. Not meaning to sound rude? You're being pretty fucking rude.

Listen to Grieves, Talib Kweli, The Roots, Shad, Lauryn Hill, Atmosphere, Cyne, or Illogic and then try to tell me that's unsophisticated trash.

I love EA but holy shit I'm embarrassed about it sometimes.

  • @flyingsmilodon I have grown up thank you very much. Now I'm gonna fucking sound rude you insignifigant little prick. Obviously you're not a true EA fan if you're embarassed about it sometimes. Go listen to you're shitty music somewhere else. Biggie, Tupac, Eminem, those are real rappers. This shit now-a-days is just that, shit.

  • @OctoberBeauregard If you can't see why I'm so embarrassed by her fanbase then you're probably one of the people I'm embarrassed by.

LAWL. Something tells me you've never heard any of the artists I posted.

  • @flyingsmilodon Part of the problem also are the rap-fans, too. Thoso trolls in Metallica's songs, those girls in my school who think what they listen to is good and all other is shit. Yeah, and here in Finland, there are many, many, many horrible rap artists.

I'm not into rap, but I like old Linkin Park and there's a lot of Mike Shinoda's rapping in songs like Faint and Hit the Floor. 8)

  • @flyingsmilodon I agree with you! Everywhere I come, artists are dissing other artists and genres. The Justin Bieber comments are getting pretty old, I can tell you. There are talented rappers and there are people who play crappy classical songs. I don't like music from my country (Dutch music) but I am not going to comment the people thumbing down my music vid listen to Dutch music. Or claim there isn't any good Dutch music. Personal taste and quality is something totally different.

  • deffinatly one of my favs from enchant :P :)

  • This song makes me think about the 90s, in the best way XD

  • @lolleri01 hehe I think my bf is jealous of my love for her. lol

  • I love this song sooo much, it's my favourite <3

Even if it's not "typical" for EA and I love all her other songs as well...

fairylike sound combined with totally serious and disturbing lyrics, that's what I like here (=

  • Wow, this is the first time I've heard this song. It's different, but not in a bad way. I like it, I would like to hear more of this kind of music from her.

  • This is one of those few songs that redeem pop and rap from its current state.

Ahhhh. yet again EA, yet again you up the standards.

  • How Strange...This doesn't sound like Emilie Autumn xP

  • @impregnent *spazzes*!! You're right! It's a pun!

  • Comment removed

  • This is really one of my favourites by her. (: It's unlike her, but good.

  • Comment removed

  • Am I the only one who is reminded of Destiny's Child by the song? xD

I love that Emilie isn't afraid to try other genres of music.

  • @ProgressiveBoink no ur not i think its really similair

  • @ProgressiveBoink It does!

  • Ummm why does his resemble a pop song to a lot of you? I dont see it at ALL. She doesnt belong in any genere of music. Shes too brilliant.

  • Indeed this is one of (in my own opinion) her best songs, off her best album. Good for any occasion, she is. Our Lovely Mistress is so diverse that I am sure any one of us could find at least one song to sing for anything.

  • loooove emilie autumn (no homo)

  • @lizysixx Don't worry, dear.

    Plague Rats don't judge.

  • @lizysixx Hey I like your name, is it a play on of Nikki Sixx?

  • This couldn't be her! Sounds WAY too pussycat girls to me! But at the same time the falsetto is her sorta style so...yeah...this weirds me out a little!

  • i love how she is good at singing her normal music and music like this XD

  • Well...this is strange. But I like it.

  • @Phreeck11 How Strange.

  • Loved since since I first heard "Castle Down" Now Shes my favourite artist! (beside Amy Lee/Evanescence)

  • Wow, lol this is interesting

  • i love all your videos is there any chance that you could send me the emilie autumn ones please

    they are so cool

  • EA basically shows what I've been trying to say for ages to people: you can't hate a genre of any sort because there's always elements in all songs, or amazing artists that manage to stray from what they're used to and uses another style for different songs.

I've noticed EA is especially good at this, which makes her as a lot of people say - a musical genius.

So yeah, don't go saying you hate rap or R&B. You just never know what your favourite artist may come out with next.

  • @RuikeiWolf

You are right. Though I remember when Linkin Park came out with Minutes to Midnight and it was horrible. Still, their new album is awesome and so is EA.

  • @Snesboy09 I quite liked that album myself, but I've probably grown out of it by now somehow.

  • I will be playing this as my second theme song for Halloween.... It's sexy and creepy but won't scare little kids. As for everyone else will hear all the horror music i've bought from itunes.
