@MrMuffinmutt I stopped using this product a few months ago. I worked for a while, but it dried out my skin too much! It's not very expensive so it's worth a shot. Now I'm using a product called Panoxyl. You should google it. They sell it at drug stores everywhere!! I have combination skin

oooh me too. i have been presciribed panoxyl acnegel 5 and doxycycline. the thing is...its been 2 weeks and a half and i am not seeing that big of results. the panoxyl is also hard to use. it dries really fast and isn't east to rub into the skin as it is very sticky. also, after it dries...it fucking turns up white on your face!

are u seeing any results with panoxyl?

its says that it might take a month or so to see the full effect!

@MrMuffinmutt hi you (and others with a similaer problem) can mix a little honey with lemon juice and egg white and apply to the face .Wash it off after 15 minutes. This is a natural and effective mask for oily skin. If you ask me oily skin is the most sensitive so you have to really be careful of the products you try some get ur skin too dry and some just dont work. Natural products do little or no damage either it works or it doesnt. Hope this helps

They do have different systems (from the same brand)

In this video, she had the original, which I guess is for mild acne. I just started using this last night. That also have separate packages of the same stuff but it has much more of the peroxide which makes it the severe acne treatment system. I have the original cause my acne is not too bad. I bought this treatment during the middle of last month and I noticed my skin did start to clear up, because I've always had acne. Nothing too severe but something I wasn't comfortable with. After the 1st week of using it though my face felt really tight and dried out and I even had some small bumps appear on my cheeks and chin area. So I discontinued use and started using it again a few days ago and with some help of some good Aveeno lotion my skin looks really good ;)

I've been using Acne Free for months now and it was worked perfectly, I almost never had a pimple. But all of a sudden it's stopped working completely and my face has become horrible. @amakoiscool i once got dried up using it but it was because i used it 2 times a day and did not use moisturizer it is important you put moisturizer after you do step 3 and just use it 1 time a day so it doesnt dry you up, atm i have acne free on my face lol after putting it it burns but stops later and the peeling doesn't happen cause of the moisturizer and so far it has been working pretty good dried up a couple of pimples pretty quickly so i would not give up on acne free that quickly.

The only thing I notice is sometimes when I go outside and sweat (it's south Florida in the summer) it burns a little on my face. It says on the bottle not to go outside in the sun too much. Also be careful with the peroxide!!! It WILL bleach your skin/hair/clothes. Good luck!

The kit I got from AcneFree was different than yours. My kit is the sensitive skin kit as well, but it has a face wash, a oil free Moisturizer, and a pimple spot terminator. I'm on the 3rd day and I notice a difference. It's cool that the product has both Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid, which are the best methods for getting rid of acne.

When you say, buy/use a good lotion for your face if it gets dry, make sure people don't use body lotion on their face! That will clog your pores and make you breakout more. They need to use a moisturizer, like the one I got from Acne Free.

@Karebare1416 If you have the "spots", known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), there is not much you can do. They will need to fade on their own. It can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to 24 months. I am struggling with that, too, and I'm 20.

Yes continual use of acne free will definitely help clear up your skin. You'll see changes in 3 days but all your acne wont just disappear! I've been using it for a year now and my skin is clear:)! hope this helped you:)!!!

Well apparently it has a lot of vitamins that are healthy for the skin, and I also noticed that my face dried out. But this is how I did it:

1. Rinse potato off

2. Wash your face with soap (body wash is best because bar soap clogs pores) and be sure to use warm water to open pores

3. Cut a few potato slices (about as thin/a bit thicker than a potato chip)

4. Rub the slice all over face

5. Let juices sit on skin for 15-20

6. Wash off with cold water to close pores

:D Repeat daily!

@ilyxb00 umm.. to cure back acne, you could try using a bottle for spray and then filling it up with white vinegar. Spray this on your back everyday right before you go to bed. When you wake up, take a shower! :P this works! But don't try it on your face cuz ur skin would be too sensitive whereas your back,the skin is a lot rougher!

NOTE: In the Acne Free Severe kit the only thing that has 10% Benzoyl Peroxide in it is the Maximum Strength Repair Lotion which is the 3rd step after you've applied the Toner and you only use it once a day in the morning time only. And as for the cleanser it only has 2.5% of Benzoyl Peroxide.

I once tried the Acnefree for severe acne and it dried out my skin so much in just one applicaton. I don't have sensitive skin and have used many products and I have to say that stuff was horrible. I'm sure the regular one or the one for sensitive skin is better. As for the one for severe acne, beware!

if you don't like the way this product works out for you, allow me to suggest using a simple ivory soap bar. it is closest to an all natural soap with a minimum of additional chemicals. over the past few yrs, my speculation for artificial ingredients has grown tremendously!

if you want something with benzoyl peroxide (other than "acne free") you should order some "benzoyl peroxide gel" by DDF.
