For anyone who thinks this is mean....I have those humane traps, a little different than that though. I caught a mouse, put him in the trash outside......and he came back. I did it again thinking it might have been a different mouse, caught him again, put him in the trash outside....and he came back! I know it's the same mouse because now he doesn't get caught by the traps and avoids them. If it were a different mouse he would get caught again, but this one learned. You HAVE to kill them.

Nice work. In one weekend at our house i got 22 mice with the glue traps. I felt so bad cause the little things are semi-cute. I put them out of their misery by drowning the in the toilet. It was sad and gross', but they had to go.

@CindiiLuv This is true, and they have to be killed. The unfortunate thing is that all of the rat traps currently sold are inhumane and will either severely injure or torture the mouse. It's sad because they are very cute creatures. The most humane method of killing them without having C02 onhand is to take the sticky trap, place a piece of a board or something to flatten and relax it from squirming, and drown it, make sure it isn't gasping for air. They die in about ten seconds and at peace.

Glue traps are evil. Just go with the old-fashioned ones that snap their necks - much more humane.

I'm not siding with the mouse at all. I had an apartment above a restaurant once, and we had mice all the time and it sucked. But the glue traps leave the mouse to suffer, sometimes for days, while the old-fashioned traps kill them within a couple of minutes.

So I thought I'd show everyone what to do if they were in this situation but with humor ...
