I never joined in on one i just went for a timed run by myself and ended up racing the guy he started to try about 25 min into my run going in the same direction never even talked to him lol i hit about about 120 mph when i lost him on a straight away, i was drifting he was grip driving soo kinda scary at that speed but I practiced alot on my own time.
I used to own an 87 Fire bird Trans AM I used it for alot of cannonball runs that were pretty fun same setup as you I raced this Honda civic from Coos Bay, OR to Medford, OR in 2 hours and 5 min i lost him around 1 hour 26 min into the race. I was going between 80-110 cept for 1 time when my tires were starting to get worn out i had to drop around 60 I had alot of fun in that car glad to see that others are as well.
@003Blind Nice, yeah i definitely have fun in her. They are hard to find in halfway decent shape nowdays, so my 85 with 34,700k miles is a diamond in the ruff.. But those cannonball runs sound cool, how do you find when they go on?
nice driving... to be honest i was 1/2 expecting a lame ass video of a car driving in circles with the inside tire burning out. but you did a good job. :)
thats dirty for an auto, i have an 85 wit a 1971 350 truck engine bored .60 over wit a 4bbl holly carb, etc, shell rip just like that, awsome to see others doin it to!
