My 1941 Ford V8 Pick up has not run for thirty years also. I pulled the motor thirty years ago and it is on a palette in my garage covered up. I have another motor that I am putting into it now and should have it started in a few weeks or so. I did get the motor started on an engine stand a few years ago and it runs great.
Cool, I have a 40 to, but mine does not have an engine! bought it like scrap metal from some dude, and planning on bringing it back to life! Still deciding on rat or more elaborated customising
love them flatheads.. have a 40 pick up too, needing restored, i have got frame and flathead done, start it like that too. are u going to convert it to 12 volt?
LOL i also have a 40 ford pick up all disassembled but have a running chassis and start it just like in the vid. hope to get it back on the road soon.. love the old flatheads.. anyone who pulls out a flathead in favor of an ohv chevy engine is a moron
