These are not Amigas, they are simply PCs with a Commodore or Amiga badge on them. They don't even run Aros, the open source Amiga OS, and they were quite rude to the existing Amiga and Aros community.
This is great! This is another proof that amiga lives! Any music(.MOD)player for A600 and where to download?i have eagleplayer 2.03 but i can't install on my a600.I'm using workbench 2.1.
Thanks, but I'm a few years older than the A600, I came out the same year the A1000 did, 1985. Have you ever released the games you made online? There's still a pretty active Amiga scene who really appreciate any new games and software that people make. Emulation has really helped keep the Amiga scene active, and convenient too!
My most popular game got picked up off of the old GEnie servers and has appeared on several Amiga game disks. You can still find it if you search for "New Stubb City." I've preserved the original GEnie post and game files here:
I'm not running anything that would eat much RAM. I have added an extra 1MB ChipRAM to it since I took this demo, and now I use it to go online, chat to friends on IRC and MSN, play MMORPGs (MUDs), check my email and read newsgroups.
I run in PAL 640x256x2, which is 4 colours. The A600 can't show 8bit screens. I have written a program in AmigaE that opens a locked-palette 640x512x4 (16 colours) screen which I will use for browsing the web once I get some extra Fast RAM.
Black Magic, the little rascal, has tried jumping up on the LCD monitors more than once too. Luckily the springy A1200 keyboard saved it from smashing!

Go Amiga.
I want a Amiga again, I wish I could have one with today's tech.
Just image how far computing could have been if Amiga succeeded.
Stupid Windows. Stupid Macs.
Amiga is where it's at.

That's great. The computer has to be older than you.
Sadly I sold off all my amiga stuff while it still had some value. But I've got the emulator and some old games I made.

1Mb?! Weird, I am sure my 2mb Chip A600 would tell me "out of memory" if I tried to open that many windows!
What screenmode are you in? Pal Hi Res: 640 x 256 x 8?

Hey there!
Wow, I have a pcmcia Prism 2 wifi card for my A600 that I have not set up yet, can I ask which tcp package you are using? Miami?
BTW - when I said 640 x 256 x 8, I actually mean 8 colours. :) I grew up with ocs and ecs.... I wish they could display 8bit plane screenmodes. :)
How are you planning on installing the fast? Via the pcicia it actually works out slower than chip. :(
Please let me know how you do, oh and bravo on getting into E.

I would be quite scared if my cat was on top of my screens... as they are LCD ones ;)
