In what way "bad"? Las Vegas is a huge city these days.. that means high crime by default. It's a city that has a lot of low-brains jobs so that means a lot of lowlifes move there to find work. With that, gambling causes social problems & related alcohol abuse. Hence, you have a city with elevated levels of violence, drunk driving, accidents, etc.
