  • Wow, great!

  • 之前彈過較簡單的版本,

    最近正在練習技巧較複雜的版本......

    希望手指不會抽筋= ˇ =

  • my friend has a keyboard and he wants to know how to make the backround sound of it go away does any1 know how?

  • @caladbolge If i am correct, when recording you could plug it into a sound jack or something like that...but its far better than acoustic because i need to have everyone be quiet when i record XD

  • @Mrmusicmaster88 hmm well mine has components and theres the pedals, the keyboard itself and the speaker and when the keyboard is on it makes the (hmm) sound is that normal

  • @caladbolge well from what i remember, older keyboards make the hmmm sound. If its a new keyboard, ask about it, because it could be a manufacturer's defect.

  • how long have you play this? do you need a piano teacher or you learn it by yourself?

  • :) very goood.

  • how long have you trained this song till smooth like this?

  • it is too fast bro in the beginning,

  • nice

  • awesome!

  • wow.,

I have play this song in musican school but I can't remember it :D

    SO BEUTIFUL (H)

  • I love very much this song. It calm me.

  • love it how you don't play it note from note and you've added some of your own variations in parts of the song. well done xD. and very good effort with the tremolos at the end ! i always struggle with those. keep it up

  • I really enjoy listening to you play this piece. its really soothing. Shame that it wasn't on a grand piano.

My favorite part of the piece is at 3:13.

I found the sheet music and its quite challenging with the right hand off beat with the left for the majority of the song.

  • waaaaau

  • YOU ARE TALENTED!!!! That is the first time I have seen someone play that piece and it sounded just like my CD...I take my hat off to you :)

  • I love your hands...

  • Do you have the sheets for this music?

    x

  • where can i get this music sheet?

  • BRAVO! (standing ovation)

  • If only all pieces could sound this good without accidentals

  • Comment removed

  • Like the way you are playing... :)

  • fave classical piece of music.

  • so nice i like how u play it

  • Great Job, best one!

  • Good effort. Although I like the slow section as well.. its a nice little break, and you could probably work on the end tremelos a bit more too. Nonetheless, it was solid. I'll post mine in a few days - check it out.

  • Wow that was incredible. You are amazing. Hope to see your album available soon!

  • Beautiful.Ilike your playing.

    I'm playing Concert Version.

You wouldnt happen to have the sheet music would you??? or does anyone have the sheet music to this peice??? ive been searching forever and no luck....sigh!

  • Hi! shawn, youre so good. I like the way you play that instrument, excellent.

  • Very well played my friend :) I'm hoping to get this sheet music also soon, I will try and post a video response also when i do :) Keep up the good work. x

  • I love your fingers! They're so awesomely long; you must've been playing since you were young. Beautifully played :)Natalie

  • U play well but at the same time don't divulge ur identity. Ingenious.

  • I've been practicing this piece for a week now. Although I can perfectly play with the right hand, my left hand can't keep it up. The left hand in his variation is very difficult because its not that very much a canon because it is different in every cycle (If you know what I mean). Seing how you manage your left, I think I'll do just that.

Great playing by the way. I saw George Winston Play this and he looked a little funny with the head banging and the stiffness.

  • This is Great, Beautiful..

    Great Job Man!!!

  • A Great Performance!!!!

  • i want ure gold fingers!

  • Magic hands. This is great!

  • Now that's tight, Well Done!

  • where did you get the notes to this?

  • love it..your playing it at my wedding :)

  • All you seem to show is your phantom hands! Spoooky!

  • So beautiful song ..

    Very good played ..

    Bravo.

  • Yr video has inspired to me learn this song well..i used to dislike george winstons interpretation of the piece but u have made me discover how beautiful it can sound..i hope i can play like you one day

  • I'm joining with the others in commenting on your awesome skills. I wish I could play this well.

  • Congrats =P

  • and another 5 stars for you!! you keep making me do that!!!

  • You are fantastic! I would like to have the sheet of this music. Can you send me? And maybe you already have some DVD os something...I listen to your music every day a lot of times and I would like to have it also in my car. How can I get it?

  • ^^ 2. post from me :P i really could see this song played by you for hours it's so beautiful *rave about it*

    i hope it's grammatically right^^

  • well done with the trills! it's not quite like the original but for some bizarre reason, yours sounds really really good too :P

  • wow your amazing ,thank you so much I would love to have you playing on dvd to listen to on my computer all the time,do you have your own material on dvd?:-)

  • definitely the best cannon version in you tube!!!

How long it took you to get it so perfect???

let me know because im in practice and it is taking a while

  • wow thanks! I still think this video is far from okay, there are a lot of things that annoy me everytime I hear it now, I'm definately putting up a new video whenever I get a new piano. I must've learned this song back when I was in 8th-9th grade. Focus on one hand at a time and then play em simulataneously when you got both the right and left hands down by themselves, that's how I learned it.

  • thanks....i will try just that.... because its taking me a while to get it right

  • @shawnyp81

Come on. Don't be silly. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE! Just absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!

  • isee this video now the 3-4. time (= it's great i can understand why you wanted to play the piano because of this song

  • It's so beautiful... I've been listening to your video on repeat for a long time. I rediscovered your video again recently, and I'm stuck on it again (a good thing)! It's really beautiful, and I wish I could get a copy of the video and/or audio track so I can listen to it off YouTube!

You are very, very talented, and I love the variations you used (I gather, from George Winston's live, as others have stated).

Sorting through the other Kanon renditions on YouTube, yours is definitely the best.

  • absolutely beautiful =]

  • Ummm... Could you send me the sheets also? I really love how you play this piece.

  • Beautiful. Can you send the sheets to me? I would appreciate it (:

  • thats really pretty =] i like it

  • Btw, great choices of songs to play. Mostly from the December and Summer albums. I have a request: would love to hear you play Carol of the Bells. :)

  • wow, your comment really makes me happy, I do think there are a few versions out there that is better than my video, I do wanna post a better version of this song sometime, I sold my piano about a month ago due to my move from MA to GA and once I save enough money for a new piano, I plan to post a lot more videos (especially GW songs), I'll definately try carol of the bells sometime, great song =)

  • HI! I was browsing around the vids here for George Winston and I came across yours. Out of all the videos concerning his music, your renditions are the best and the closest to Winston's sound. I've enjoyed his music when I was younger and now, I'm letting my unborn baby listen to him as well. Before I checked your videos, I lost my cd of George Winston. So now, I'm letting my baby listen to your playing of his songs. Please keep them up, you play great. :)

  • NICE JOB, i noticed you added some extra flair that george winston used in his own live performances. 5/5

  • you have beautiful hands..*blush*

  • Left nut I would give! Cut it off and call it a day! I would give my left nut to be able to play that like you do!!! AWESOME!!!

  • thanks! ah man, that sounds real painful though

  • Hi! Can you give me the sheets for this version of George winston's Kanon? The version of George Winston's Kanon on the internet is slightly different. Your version is better because it sounds like the one in George Winston's concert. Well done.

  • good job, I like your playing

do you mind to post your nice playing on my site?

    my site is

    http://tw886.to/scores/

    thanks

  • hrrmm, I'm not sure if I spelled that right. IMPROVE?? wow that if the first word I don't know how to spell. amazing, i meant that word where you make up as you go or something

  • Kim.. the word you are looking for is improvise... shortened to improv. i hope i helped a little.. heh...

  • Wow, I know how to play the song too and I noticed you improved it. Very nice. and weird finginer O_O hahaha but very nice

  • You don't have to play the intro with 1 hand you know :). The sheets I used had each chord seperated for both hands. Nice stretch you have there lol. I heard some improvisation. Little snippets. :P And I can definetely tell you are having fun playing this. Yeah, you just need to shape out some more dynamics. Maybe it's your "piece o' junk" piano haha. (next comment)

  • Otherwise, speaking technical-wise, it's fine. And very well played out constant tempo. Basically you have to think of every note as being unique though; instead of playing all those notes around the same dynamic level. Well anyways, I enjoyed your little improvisations on George's Kanon. 5/5

  • awsome.. yeh play smoother in the beginin on those chords

  • That was very well done. Much better than I could anyway! One piece of advice I have is to play legato (smoothly connected) notes. It sounded, at the beginning anyway, a little choppy and disconnected. At the end it was awesome.
