Nice Vid I am about 3 hours south of you and typically go out to Buckingham co. and been to Louisa once. Wondering if you have tried any dredging in the locations you have made the vids in?. You seem to have found a decent area with good concentrations. I am just wondering what you would get if you ran 10 +/- yards thru a dredge in a day.

@feud1111 So far this area yields a little less than a half a gram per yard, in certain spots. I am currently looking for a used 2" back pack dredge. I'll keep you posted.

Since the video is titled "How to Find Gold", how do you know which rivers/creeks are worth panning in? Will any natural running water source do, or are there specific features you look for? Any help would be great thanks!!

@Venichord You have to do a little bit of research. See if there is any gold in your area. From present day to back in the old days, there is a lot of history. Your best bet is to research where gold has already been found, whoever it was that found it, didn't find all of it =D That's a guarantee.

@MrFrostyBoy1 You must first have it assayed to determine how pure the gold is. Sometimes it contains different minerals. Then, more research is needed. Never sell your gold to someone without the proper knowledge.

He and I have done a fair amout of prospecting in this area and not a single nugget has been found. Virginia gold seems to be only fine gold well thats all we have found in Northern VA anyway.

You shouldn't doubt his ability he knows what he is doing.
