yeah ozzie has always worn that helmet....use to wear one just like that when i was little an old cooper lol then as i got older i moved to the itech helmets.....hes a very under rated goalie as well he lets in shots sometime and your liek what the fuck osgood lol but the guy always seems to get it done man

Hell yes. Ozzie is great. Just cause he's not the best, and doesn't have as many awards or cup wins or trophy's doesn't mean he doesn't belong with the rest of the greats like Roy or Hasek... Hell look at Hasek last year, he reeked, but he's a great goalie...looks like Ozzie is taking the same path =sigh= Ozzie is half the reason I took up goaltending in the first place.

because it is what he prefers, he has always worn that because it is comfortable to him. i play goaltender and i used to wear a player helmet because it takes a while to get used to a regular goal helmet

Its preference. There is a big difference in feel between a mask and a helmet. Hes been successful with a helmet so why switch to something hes not comfortable with. Thats all it is. Hes actually gone on ebay and purchased like 14 of these helmets since they no longer make them.

All it is is a players helmet with a goalie mask. Its just that I think its a bauer helmet and they dont make that style anymore.
