@bordy008 Just an FYI: I contacted Hercules Tech support and they said the knobs and sliders can be removed and don't have any adhesive contecting them. Should be able to just pull them off. On the other hand, the jog wheels and the buttons can not be changed (not that I want to). Anyways should be getting mine in the mail in a few days. Cheers!

@Nicksbia nope this is a midi controller, it only controlls software on the computer. this is mainly used instead of using keyboard and mouse and this is easier to make mixes on, so no you cannot connect different turntables to it, you could by a usb connector for the turntables and buy serato scratch live software and youll be able to use your turntables with the computer to mix, usb to turntable is better if you dont have vinyl and you can load and play mp3s through serato use turntable to mix

@sybrant1 could also be the version of virtual dj you use. I had the same problem with the treble, mid, and low internal mixer knobs. I upgrade to VDJ 7.0 Pro and it doesn't make the cracking sounds anymore.

@sybrant1 its interference with the soundcard,, on vdj 6/7 you could try

config > perfromance

and click on safemode, unchecking it and changing it to fastest, then the problems should be resolved
