I know you probably don't wanna hear this but BKT involves applying formaldehyde to the hair. Formaldehyde is a known carcinogenic. I don't know if you or anyone close to you has ever had cancer but it is something to avoid! PS- if the worst does happen, you'll end up losing the hair anyway.
Find some other method to grow strong hair. This is not the way.

What if you currently have a relaxer in your hair? Can you still use the Brazilian Blowout Treatment? I think it's wonderful. I actually saw someone who has it and I want it too...I think. My beautician can get the same effect with conditioning and flat ironing and for less money...hmmm...and why does it cost so much? When you are doing the same work as a relaxer.
@kennymimi84 yes you can still use it but do not get the relaxer the same day you doing it. Do your relaxer like 3weeks before or you could even instead of getting the relaxer just do the Keratin Treatment. And also it cost so much to do this treatment because it is restoring Keratin which is a protein back into your hair and giving your hair strength and more growth.
my sister had this done and her hair looked beautiful so healthy and shiny. i def want to get this done soon but its so expensive i'm lookng at $400 and up
@calberkeley01 get softliss, its cheaper and works just the same. and u dnt have to wait 4 days like with the other ones. have your beautician follow the directions EXACTLY and u should have beautiful straight hair =)
@FashionistaLuvsNY No keratin doesn't straighten the hair the other chemicals in the product do. keratin gives aid to some growth, less frizz and more manageable-ness.
@coachced your hair looks amazing! How long does this treatment last? Did you notice any changes in your natural hair texture in its CURLY state after this treatment?
