i am going to make these with my son tomorrow. will let you know how they turn out. i usually use frozen corn. thanks going to check out your other videos.
and to virgil - i wouldn't exactly call this rich peoples food - once you invest a few hundred dollars on these excellent and long lasting tools you are done. good luck and i hope try to eat well, you will feel sooooooo amazing!
Spends way too much time talking about what he had done and is way too opinionated. When doing something like this and posting a person should keep their opinions and belief's to their selves. Other than that a nice recipe for the rich people to do that have the money for a dehydrator and a blender.
@Virgil2U yes ovens are far cheaper. And when you eat healthy food, you dont get sick anymore and waste your money on pills and doctors. I havent been sick in nearly a decade, what is that worth? And a little background explanation adds to the video Virgil...take it easy brother. Thanks for watching though...peace.
Anthony, I accidentally hit the dislike button on this video. I LOVED this video and went back to the like button a bunch of times to offset the negative. Today is August 7 2010. So just subtract that one (hopefully its only one) that came in today. This was the best video for corn chips I viewed on YT. I watched a bunch. Keep em coming. Thank you for all you do....
FYI: I saw you had a bunch of ground flax seeds. You might know already but flax goes rancid about 15 min after you grind it. So I only grind as much as I'll need. Anyway thanks for sharing you recipe.
I recently made corn chips in my dehydrator using bagged frozen corn; they came out so-so, so I'll try using fresh corn next time. Bet they'll be 10X better. Thanks for the vid, though it would be nice to see the finished product:) Oh and why didn't you use any salt? Do they taste bland w/out it?
Honestly, I'm a little bit inspired! I went raw for vanity initially too (aspiring model). I've been vegan for 3 years and raw for 1 month. so thanks for keeping my spirits up! It's hard to be healthy when you're 16! takk!
I tried a different recipe for corn chips that made some terrible chips! Had to resort to baked chips for salsa and guacamole--I will try this one soon though. Thanks for posting it and for giving such clear instructions.
Great video, you make it look very easy to do, I'll definately do it this summer. I'll plant some corn, I couldn't find any organic corn here either. You should become a talk show host, you're great at presenting new ideas. You know, the male version of Tyra without the insanity.
All that work to make the chips and we didn't even get to see the finished product?? WTF?

we call is husking in canada ...and if you put oil on your hand the hair sticks to your hands and not the corn.
and the corn chips are fabulous dipped in a sundried tomato tapenade
StrawberryBigMac 3 years ago
yeah....husking is the term in Minnesota. Some say "shucking" but its more husking in MN.
Thanks for the tip on the sundrieds...
