ha! thats been my general feeling as well....I just watched an interview with Sinead O Connor and all they really talk about are the symptoms and almost none of what caused this bipolar. The feeling I got from it was that the doctors did more harm than good with their meds and convinced her she was sick and crazy when she really wasnt
3 breaths and all is well, cmon now, all in all an I like the idea of changing your thoughts but maybe you could provide some examples on how to do that. I read that a lot but no one gives examples of how to change your thinking.
One of my weeknesses is my fast food habits, especially when i'm buisier ... and the thing also is looking for things that are better the body and budget..
Sugar causes depression. Stop drinking soft drinks, which is pure liquid candy rot, and your depression will go away. Soft drinks are highly addicted toxic nasty chemical brews that do all sorts of nasty stuff to your body. They rob it of vitamins, minerals, calcium; cause diabetes, confusion, memory loss, hyper activity, fatigue, violent aggressive behavior, flatulence, stomach ulcers. Until then, you can take St. Johns Wort which helps greatly if you are depressed from soft drink binge.
Wow, i know someone who drinks an alarming amount of soft drinks and seems to have alot of these symptons.
An older relative of mine.. though, a California native, he eats pretty healthy doses of vegetables.
I also have an apparently inhereted (not from him, from mother) sweet tooth problem and occassionally fall into sweets binges. My immediate fam and I though also try to eat healthy and don't over do the soul food thing..
Go Find a job, No time to be depressed if you are working, and get this if you work all the time you have money and no depression. if you go to work, no time for boo hoo's
All we need is the right water to hydrate our brains so we rid ourselves of any brain ailment, since the brain is 90% water. ADHD is dehydration of the brain. Bipolar people have dehydrated their brains through poisonous food, poisonous water and poisonous societal thinking. Plus bipolar folks are very sensitive empathic people, basically walking quartz crystals. A lot of us do not know how to release other peoples negative energy in which it has ethericly sticks to us. Be safe and well.
I think the best way to put people off of the expectation that money itself would release people from this trap that they seem to attribute to the illusion of mobile wealth is to discover that it what it is that they really want, sometimes wealth is not about money but rather time and time to spend with family, loved ones, and others, as well as owning one's own time. Sure you can go to a job and get paid but it never gets people out of the illusion of issues they face, attitude counts 90%.
@AlterEgoTrip: yep, exactly. As Seneca wrote: spending time with or on someone is the greatest gift, because no one can give you back time. On the other hand, it might be good to remember that Seneca was so wealthy, that he could actually spend time on these things.
I am a firm believer that attitude still counts 90% because its the magic no one ever seems to tell you about when you are young, its like you can be extremely poor and living in a shop front (borrowed by a friend to have a place to live) full of scorpions, and you could feel really down about not having anything, and then still keep up your attitude and end up with a job.. a well paying job. Attitude helps your connection with people, and friendships can be important in a pragmatic way too.
Heres my advice... stop sponging off the govt (unemployment check/welfare) and get out there and take whatever job you can get. Move into a cheaper home, trade in for a cheaper car, etc. Might have to move to a city where employment is stable, GOOGLE it. Quit wasting time watching Youtube videos and search online for opportunities.
@morgansilzara Sounds like someone here has no idea what it's like to suffer from drepression, or any other paralyzing illness. Usually someone who makes comments like this is young, healthy and never had a major crisis in their life, health related or otherwise.
What's even better? You my friend, have obviously taken the time to watch the vid, AND post a comment, then make assumptions and judgements about everyone else? Give me a break!
why is it ok for the government to sponge off us our entire lives like a parasite but when we do it to them we're the scum of the earth? whats that about?
the reason its all a big scam "making money at all cost" the benifits out way the risks.. and the risks are all on your part because the doctors and lawyers protect themselfs and each other and well you know the world isnt getting better for you or me just the money makers..................
and you can bet those who you turn to may seem conpassionated but beware of happy smiling faces
It is the way it is because what are you going to do about it.
bipolar is a man made disease they made up to profit off of the basic depression
