  • Man, that sound takes me back to those hot summer days in the '90s when I was a poor college student takin' TARC buses everywhere, feelin' the instant relief when I step aboard an air-conditioned Flx Metro B with that exact same sound, livin' on peanut butter sandwiches and drinkin' Tang from a Gatorade jar. Too bad we didn't preserve any of ours. :(

  • GASP! I must have seen these then!

  • 10 lanes in 4

  • i wonder how fast these things can tavel...'bout 65mph?

  • They're governed to 69.

  • Wait....why are there so many trucks?

P.S I don't live in NJ but I might sound stupid asking the question.

  • Fella, being right by New York City and having so many natural and man made ports, NJ utilizes a great deal of trucks. Additionally, being one of the densest states in the U.S. it has a great deal of businesses needing a great deal of deliveries.

  • @bjb91 the gwb is the main thruway for the northeast travel i95 the gwb sees aprx 20,000 trucks a day all day everyday. 50 bux a pop on the toll too. and nyc has no money to repave there horible roads??!! cmon

  • Even though these buses are old and about worn out......NJ transit should retire some of them but not all of them. New Jersey Transit wouldn't be the same without the Flxible Metro-Bs

  • I AGREE

  • Soon. I'd say within the year or 2009.

  • when are they being retired?
