How to put all your crates in alphabetical order.

this didn't work for me. i deleted the file from my internal drive and my external, but the crates are still out of order when i start up ScratchLive. even if i re-order them manually, they still get moved around next time i start up. please help, this is driving me crazy!!!

You are most likely putting songs from both the internal drive and external drive in the same crate. This is a big no no. You're not supposed to put songs from different drives in the same crate. This will cause all sorts of problems with crate and track sorting, order and organization.

Keep internal drives songs in their own crates, and external drive's songs in their own crates, and don't "mix" them together in the same crate.

I'm having the same exact issue. I removed the neworder.pref file and it fixes it somewhat, not perfectly alphabetical order. Also, my files are ONLY coming from my external drive. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

Make sure you are removing the neworder.pref file for the external drive's _ScratchLIVE_ folder as well, not just the internal drive's ScratchLIVE folder.
