There is a sales tax on dining out, 6%. and an 8% sales tax on my room in Concord. But, overall, very free environment.
My favorite fact about New Hampshire: the Tax-Me-more Fund, for people who think taxes should be higher. Just send a check payable to the "Tax Me More Fund", Legislature, Concord, New Hampshire.
