  • If used properly...staccato works great if proper abdominal breathing is used! I use this as a breathing exercise. Thanks Blagmusic

  • i breath at every third :P

  • I'm just starting out with singing again, I use to do a lot of gigs. After 5 years and one child I am in need of a shape up with my vocals, my god do they need some fine tuning... will I get my voice back if I do this on a regular basis, or have I lost it for ever? Thank you Thank you Thank you for posting these on YouTube... YES gotta love the internet.!!!

  • So basically, a scale in triplets

  • Can someone please explain how I'm suppose to do this one? I've never even heard of it before, and I can't find anything telling me what to do. :/ Iz confused.

  • @MayonakaSohma You say 1,2,3 with the tone of the keyboard, but it might e harder if u r an alto than soprano because it goes pretty high, I am a 1st sopranno and it is kid of low for me!

  • What's the chords for this exercise?

  • Great vid..helped me with my harmonizing and singing normally(:

  • THXXX

  • whats c6 ??

  • @abiidabby The octave above middle C on a piano.

  • @benoz11 Two octaves above. Middle C is C4. There are some keyboards (namely from Japan) That are labeled incorrectly.

  • @RaidonSama thanks, for some reason I've always assumed 5 was the middle. It's such a nice number.

  • ow these are great i just stared in a choir and i so needed something to practice Vocal Warm up Exercise! thank you for putting them up!

  • @Angeltears12 Hi, No problem!

    Peace!

  • haha wow... chillest scale. i almost fell asleep

  • tooooooooooo fast:P

  • its not that hard

  • holly crap

  • i can't catch my breath.

  • Fantastic!

  • It's a high D, not a high C! LOL

  • This was made with FL Studio. Correct??

  • onions and pickles are funn

  • @TheCaesarSalads

    They sure are!!!

  • you just a fat breath and see how long you can hold it lol

  • dam wen do we stop to pause and breathe !

  • @freshcapicorn95 - I'd say at the end of each octave

  • Comment removed

  • @blagmusic thanks

  • @freshcapicorn95 I think thats the point. It's about learning to hold it through the whole octave and maintain your sound.

  • @freshcapicorn95 there's a stop breathe when it's stop

  • hahaha~ This is a fun excercise~

  • when am I suppossed to breath?

  • i think youre supposed to breathe on the parts where he pauses.

  • @MisiaczekPysiaczek You breath as your singing.

  • @MisiaczekPysiaczek :p At the end of each octave, doing this will really help your breathing techneque. I remember at the begining of my vocal lessons, I couldn't even get half way, by mid-semester, I could go all the way with out needing to breath

  • This is my most favorite warmup...

  • Try this

    "z-a, z-e, z-aaaa"

As a Bass Choir Warmup We Do All The Scales and Triads...

We do Various Lip and Throat Warmups, We Just Suck At ENUNCIATING!!!

  • 123 123 123 123 123 123 123 1 is how u sing it!!!

  • do you just say 1-2-3 or 1-2-3-3-2-1

  • no yew sing the notes for example nah nah or la la la lol!

  • sing ve vay va ve he va-a he ya really fast and repeat higher than work in sticoto

  • i've found your videos very helpful when I need a refresher course on vocal warmups and whenever my sister hogs the piano for her practice. :3

I do have a request. do you think you can post a Diagrammatic Scale? I have an audition coming up, and want to be in the best shape i can be, and one thing I really need to work on is this particular scale. either way, thank you for posting these videos! it really helps a girl like me out!

  • What is this exercise for?

    It looks great!

    Thank U!

  • the piano graphic says C5 but it actually is starting in C4 (middle C)

  • Umm, just checking, but doesn't this start on C4, not C5? The piano graphic you have has it starting on C5. I could be wrong, I screw pitch notation up A LOT lol.

  • Yes it's wrong, don't know why it's like that?

  • Well, wrong in terms of Stand Midi - but this is FL Studio.

  • I just mean scientific pitch notation, I didn't realize there was another way, sorry.. I was just getting mixed up thinking.. Okay, unless I am getting pitch notation screwed up AGAIN, no WAY can I hit an F6?! Then I'm like.. wait a second. Is this thing calling middle C, C5? I thought middle C was C4?! Ya. Anyways, sorry..

  • @amizon66 thats in guitar as well, in all the minor scales, the 7th is half a step below :/

  • thanks so much !!

  • i may sound stupid.

how can i do this? haha

  • Do Re Mi Re Mi Fa Mi Fa So Fa So La So La Ti La Ti Do Ti Do Re Do and Repeat. :3
