I was looking for some good video-lessons that can help me.Soon I found one of yours.. watched it and I have no word to explain how i feel right now. You not only play in your artistic way, but also explain every part of it thoroughly. Just love it.. I am not watching any other video-lesson on net. You rock sir.. probably someday I'll be half as good as you.

the strumming is pretty much the same for the entire song .... just that in some places the changes occur in the midst of the pattern ... if u r finding the changes difficult, stick to the main chord for that section ....

  • Pawan Sir, Your way of teaching is just like a breath of fresh air for guitarists like me who had picked up the hobby when I was in Std VIII. But now am a sales person in an Oil Company so I dont get much time to take my skills to whole another level. You have rekindeled that passion in me.Thanks to u sir. May be when I will reach somewhere near you than I would like to meet u and thank u for all ur gr8 work.

    god bless :)

    pawan

  • thank you sir you really rocks....

  • thanks, naveen :)

  • i guess am turning out to be a good student, Pawan I been wathcing your lessons whole day today and can very well play : Hai junoon, Dil to bacha hai, Allah ke bande, & tune jo na kaha.

Just 1 prob with dil to bacha hai, my chords pattern break when i sing along it, though the strumming is just simple ......any help. and is GIVSON (INDIA) guitar good! or just advice me a brand in india.

finally Thanks a tonne for the lovely work u put....i wil be a gud student::)

  • that's great, param!

dil to bachcha hai is a bit tricky to sing and play at the same time - will need some practise ... good luck :)

  • hi Bro, which guitar do u use plzz tell me i wanna change my guitar caz i press the fret more hard bt it doesnt give a sharp sound as ur guitar does by jst pressing the frets lightly plz tell me

  • looks like u need to change it right away, bro!

    i use a takamine eg341sc ...

  • hey....a great song to learn

  • What a beautiful lesson Pawan! Especially enjoyed the detail and attention given to the strumming pattern and how you have built it up step by step from the basic pattern to something more involved and closely resembling the original. One question. I closely tried to follow the patter n as you were playing along and it seemed to me that as opposed to what you instructed about the 3 upstrokes in the latter half of the beat, you were playing either 2 upstrokes or a u,d,u at that point?

  • thanks, mangesh :)

the strokes are really for beginners to get it right initially - when i am playing, i actually play all the 16 strokes in the beat, with less stress on some, so if u look at my right hand, u will actually see all 16 (d and u alternating) ...

  • Hi sir, your tutorials are wonderful! Actually i am a beginner and i wanted if you can give me some easy strumming pattern!

    hoping for help.

    thanks

  • there r quite a few songs on my channel, which have easier strumming, try "tum bin jaoon kahan"

  • thanks sir! and merry Christmas!

  • merry christmas, sparsh :)

  • good 1 bro!

  • thanx bro :)

  • hi pawan

which guitar do u use which is d gud brand for playing it

    thanks

  • takamine, eg341sc

  • sirji aap confuse ho gaye malum padte hain @4:52 :)

  • good catch, anupam!

i must have seen it during editing, but since there was no break in the sound, i dd not bother reshooting!

  • thanks mate... hav learned alot :)

  • thanks, amir :)

  • Hi Pawan,

Again a fantastic work. Just a small suggestion. The beginning of the song (where guitar is played as intro) could be more realistic if you play Dsus7 along with D. Refer the pattern of Sholay tune. The same goes here.

  • thanks, ghostbustor :)

someone also pointed that out, i feel so foolish for missing that one!!

    god bless

    pawan
