Physco derek kept her captive and also killed her. She almost died giving birth, her father was missing in a boat and was believed to be dead. I think peyton was right in what she way saying, she has had a lot of tragic things in her life. More then lynsday
I hate how some people are talking about Haley in this episode.
I know, Lindsey isn't that...nice, but Peyton isn't either (however i love her in this part :p 'with the very same riiiiiing'). Haley is just trying to make everything good for everyone. It's not that she's like, starting to hate Peyton. She just hates the fact that Lucas was really sad because she didn't want to marry (yet). It's not like she can't be friends with Lindsey if Peyton didn't show up in 3 years.

I don't think that Lindsey is at fault here or in the season because she had every right to fall for Lucas. I hate how some people are talking about Haley in this episode.
I know, Lindsey isn't that...nice, but Peyton isn't either (however i love her in this part :p 'with the very same riiiiiing'). Haley is just trying to make everything good for everyone. It's not that she's like, starting to hate Peyton. She just hates the fact that Lucas was really sad because she didn't want to marry (yet). It's not like she can't be friends with Lindsey if Peyton didn't show up in 3 years.

I don't think that Lindsey is at fault here or in the season because she had every right to fall for Lucas. Lucas is a great guy, handsome and sweet, he just always seem to have girls falling for him. Lindsey just happen to be around at the wrong time considering Peyton is on rampage to get Lucas back. At first I'd blame Lindsey for ruining most of season but looking back I like the fights and hostility between Lucas and Peyton. Every couple has their falling out period. Just how life works.

Im not being funny or anything but Peyotn has been through SO much worse than Lindsay, i mean her two moms died, she nearly got killed and raped by physco Derek TWICE, she didn't find success in L.A, Her dad was ALWAYS away from her, her and Brooke was in so many fights and usually Peyton was left alone and to top that off she came back from LA and foudn that the man she was with had someone else. The only thing that i feel sorry for Peyton for was her parents death. Thats it.
All the other stuff like the psycho derek stuff, there was always someone there to save her.
First time, Lucas and her brother saved her, second time, Brooke saved her. She never had to go through anything without someone there for her in the end.
Who was there when Brooke got attacked? No one, and she was left with her bestfriends thinking she fell down the stairs, and a former junkie with a gun.
