  • Man, I actually succeeded at this! :D I'm very happy with the result.

  • step 1: Be Aisan

  • @calebvictor1 Step 2: Get a grammar book.

  • Say hello to mount tooshmore! Get it?

  • music please?

  • say hello to the new chunk noris ;)

  • can you use 4cm x 12cm

  • @oz2050 yes as long as its thirds of a square 1:3

  • @oz2050 As long as it's a ratio of 1:3 it should work.

  • Chuck Norris did it with iron and steel

  • this is to hard i am just going to make a 3 intersecting tetrahedra

  • thank you very much i am almost finished

    it

  • Thank you so much JoNakashima! It looks great in my room, putting the last triangle was hard, but not impossible, thank you so much! I wonder what i could without you, YOU ARE THE BEST! VOCE E O MELHOR!

  • this one gave me some experience in making origami and this one will complete my clearance,by selling this to other persons!

  • lollipopheartzxc the paper size is already in the description

  • what kind of paper do u use and were do u get it? please tell me i can never make any of the thing u make because i dont have the rite paper :)

  • Do you have to make your own size paper? if not THEN WHERE DO YOU GET IT I have trouble making it

  • took me 2 hours soo frustrating.. but at the end totallllyy worth it cause it looks AWESOME in my roon

  • Successfully Done! I liked the joy we get when we look at the WHOLE tetrahedron structure when finished.. :) Thanks for uploadind the video. It really helped me to understand the logic behind Entangling after 3 tertrahadrons were interlocked.

  • for measurement read the DESCRIPTION

  • measurement please

  • what paper did you use?

  • i tried..... but i failed..... :(

  • How to keep it together?!?

  • Grr! keeps falling apart!

  • GLUE!!!!!!!!!

  • i definitely wouldn't call this project easy--more like intermediate-hard in terms of difficulty.

and the patience you need for this. my god. it took HOURS for me and i almost went from a relatively sane human being to a crazed psycho when i actually got past the folding part and onto the assembly of the model.

    a tip: USE TAPE

yea yea, i get it. tape is the forbidden fruit in origami. but hey, if it saves ppl from going crazy...

  • not even my cardstock paper holds, i gotta use tape...

  • this guy is blowing my mind

  • say goodbye to bordum

  • Pastels are really hard to see on a white background. I can't see half your folds. I don't know how you figured out what angle to fold the corners.

  • What size is the small rectangle piece of paper you showed us in the beginning of the video to make one piece? Please reply! Thanks jonakashima! You rock! :DD

  • @lollipopheartzxc thanks! it's 3cm x 9cm

  • i think i have wrong size of paper

  • I've made this twice. everytime i make it i have to watch this video closely. so i just wanna know if there is any rule to assemble it easily

  • Good....

  • after a lot of tries: "Fuck this shit, I'm using glue" and it worked. just cant's insert the fourth tetraedra, can't find any proper place..

  • @Lymos524254 thats what you get for not following the orders of chuck norris

  • CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

  • thumbs up if u muted the near to the end

  • Comment removed

  • asshole

  • Done in less than 3 hours. Though I have done it before, but I wanted to do it again. Now I need more origami paper!!

  • Made 5 of these. People at my school literally paid for these.

  • @MrMinecraftplayer12 haha I'l start doing that again $_$

  • @MrMinecraftplayer12 How much?

  • i give upp!! i stoped at the 3rd one

  • and........ DONE! yes, i've made 4 now.... though the first and third were fails

  • At the end, I was so tired of the song...

  • does 6x3 work?

  • @mrwaffles102 yes

  • Wow, very cool! I recently built this same shape out of Zen Magnets, and it's interesting to see someone who's done the same thing with paper. Good job!

  • what role did you use?

  • pas mal lol :)

  • This is gonna take me a few hours (best guess: about 4) but I'll do it. Will be perfect christmas present.

  • MARRY ME??! You are very very good! I wish i was that good! Where did you learn it from? Do you remember all this in your head??

  • its easy and im a ten year old whos about to turn elleven and im using my brother's username

  • i used your first version, the foil paper, and they can't connect I used glue =)) Hard work but when finished it's amazing =))

  • I tried this with printer paper, but I cant connect even just three modules together

    what paper are you using?

  • You know as you connect more and more, you know what's the weird part?

When you intersect more tetrahedrons together, they become easier to connect, but you DON'T KNOW where to connect them, and you get confused XP

(At least it applies for me)

  • Thks ! It took me 2 and a half hours =)) but worth it :D This is the best birthday present I've ever given to my gf :D

  • this took a month

  • Unfortunatelly its not perfectly visible how to insert each of the pieaces but i could make it in 3 hours... I used papers sized 18x6cm doubled the original...It looks amazing, i made all white. i loved it.

  • Wow :D now i made it *happy*

  • i made my version of these with 18 modules

  • it's realy easy to assemble just use a paper that have a 1 x 3 like 5cm x 15cm

  • jonakashima always use green papers

  • i uses 2 A4 paper for this origami 1 A4 pper has 20 models of 3cm x 9cm

  • Must the ratio of paper be 1:3?

  • @HappyMemoryXD No, but its best

  • Hacer esta figura es tan facil como seguir los pasos xD

  • hey guys...why so much trying??? i made it on the first go. for those who give up immediately shouldn't even start ...

  • wow so i tried to watch the vid but then i got frustrated then i was just guessing my trough it using geometry and i made the exact thing yes!i!i!i!i!i!

  • i made it!!! in 2 days! i feel like chuck norris :D!

  • @josuemejia10 What paper do i use? does printer paper work?

  • what is the song in the background?

  • The fourth triangle... Jo Nakashima, I don't care if you don't talk in your video's...

    BUT...

YOU SHOULD FRICKKING EXPLAIN HOW YOU HAVE TO PLACE THE TRIANGLES...

I am not mad at U... Just mad that it goes wrong...

  • @origamigek there are 20 triangles. there are 4 TETRAHEDRONS.

  • @lucario0111 Sorry for my bad English.

  • is there some magic secret to putting this together

  • thumbs up if u made all 30 units and then gave up trying to assemble it :P

  • thumbs up if at 2:34 u paused it

  • when i saw the piece I though that it was going to be impossible , now , i realize that it is not so hard

  • I can't see

  • please answer, do you get paid for your advertisements on your video????

  • @mitchrude32898 Yes. he does So does everybody else

  • @RealxCheese how, I wanna make sum money...

  • @dadnapt24 This comment is from a while ago but... IF you wanna make money you need to get alot of subscribers and you tube should ask if you wanna have advertisements on your videos. People like SMOSH have them.

  • @budgiebreder 3 months. I would only do this 2 days before giving up.

  • @lukekellycopy haha i did it then and then i gave it away last week hahaha. now i'm going to make one with the long size as 4cm! WISH ME LUCK! i finally understood the key to the assembly so it's now really easy for me.

  • Congratulation!

  • @budgiebreder Congratulation!!!

  • @LittleSarahNguyen hehe thanks ^.^ i then went and gave it away to a friend now i gota figure it out again!

  • Comment removed

  • thumbs if at the first time you saw the title you read "Five interesting tetrahedra"

  • I've done it! :D Finally after trying this at least 6 or more times it has come together and worked! I used coloured printer paper. A4 is 210mm wide so I cut 70mm strips from it and it seems to work fine :D Will post a video on YouTube of finished model when I get the chance :D

  • @edwardholmes91 i used printer paper too i went with 12cm by 4cm any less and i stuff it up haha i tryed with 6x2 and 9x3

  • wat kind of paper

  • its so easy !!! wow

  • jonakashima you have the best origami thumbs up if you all agree

  • @BEEJI59 he has the best origami

  • this one is a hot model!

  • Made one it's awesome :)

  • @jonakashima Please use a different color of paper!I can't see anything!

  • @tgyhuj34 just go 2 his new video then come back 2 this vid for the assembly

  • @jellybelly8562 i still dont get the assembly =(

  • @budgiebreder just do exactly wat he does like pause when hes aout to put one in and make sure your on the right side and that the paper is exactly like his looks in the video

  • @jellybelly8562 i actually finished it thanks! with the last one i finally worked out the trick that each has one point going through a side of the other 4 aka yay i did it i don't think i'll do it again for a while though lol!

  • OMG i gave up after the 3rd one

  • @nuoccamtuoi Same, I have tried this model at least 6 or more times on various occasions. I finally managed to get the forth one in but the paper started to skew. I was making mine out of pieces of paper printed like dollar bills because I read in a book that the proportions of that worked too but I don't think it does. I think 3cm by 9cm is too fiddly too, I'm going to try the dollar bill again but print it in 1 by 3 proportions this time, so it will be about 15cm by 5cm.

  • Comment removed

  • @jellybelly8562 yes I tried and like @edwardholmes91 said, after the 3rd, the paper starts to skew...i'm cutting the pieces out from an A4 paper actually so i probably didn't get it right though.

  • @nuoccamtuoi make sur the paper is a ratio of 1:3 so if you have 5 by 15 cm thts perfect or 3 cm by 9cm and make sure you have in under and over all the right places :)

  • @nuoccamtuoi ok, remeber the size of the paper has to be a ratio of 1:3 so like 5cm x 15cm or like he uses in this video 3cm by 9 cm and what do u mean by skew

  • @jellybelly8562 it started to bend, i literally anyway, i threw it away lol, I want to try something less complicated, any suggestion? :D

  • @nuoccamtuoi wat level of folder are you i think your intermediate maybe high intermediate so for a model i would reccomend the origami pegasus by satoshi kamiya but for modular i would suggest the modular omega star it looks great and its like intermediate so i think it would be the perfect model for you jo even has a vid on the star oh and a cool model is the balancing eagle by Jeremy Shaffer jeremy has a vid of that

    so hope this helped :D

  • hey guys just a tip, if it looks impossible, then you're probsbly lookimg on the wrong side so flip it over

  • At 5:44 :) almost done.

  • Adorei. Muito Obrigado.

  • How can you put the pieces together!!! They freaking kept on falling apart!!

  • the peices wouldnt go together! :(

  • @pewpewninja1 thicker paper

  • it's so cute*.*

  • i had to use tape because it kept falling apart

  • uh.... stiff paper would probably work better than regular paper but I'm gonna try it anyway..... sigh. the music is awesome but it drove me crazy after 10 minutes

  • @Luvpeaceheartsong it's hard to fold with stiff paper...but it looks very nice.

  • this vs origami magic ball WHICH IS HARDER????

  • @apatel98 i can do this but that ball is next to impossible! lol

  • @BasquiatorSAMO which is harder the ball or the ancient dragon or the divine dragon

  • @jellybelly8562 ive heard the divine dragon is harder

  • @jellybelly8562 i've never tried the dragon but so i will get back to u once i do

  • hey. does it matter if its 5x15 paper? is that a factor? because i cant fit the fourth tetrahedra anywhere. and btw, how coe the vid with the spring is private? i wanna make it!
