  • @naspolozzolo The score/tabs of this and many others are available to those who purchased my CDs as to show my appreciation.

  • Do I come again to you to ask you so in your private site and after the subscription, we have the right to get your arrangements also with the partitions? How does that work and how much does that cost? To soon

  • @Francis74950 The Supporter's Area is my private site where I keep all scores/tabs written out so far and is for those who purchased my CDs to show my appreciation. I need some pushes to go on. I hope you understand.

  • you've become my inspiration to learn to play better guitar, and to learn more fingerpicking!

are there any books/videos you could recommend, I've been playing for 12 years and I've never gotten good at finger picking because I usually strum and sing. I've been becoming more lead-oriented lately.

You are amazing. Every song you upload is amazing.

  • @oborojin Thank you. I am self-taught player and there is no particular material used for learning. I just love the vibration of wood and I find that it also make people relax (sleepy).

  • very nice, but i wonder.. why didn't process the famous simon-garfunkel vocal harmony in the arrangement? still, very well done :)

  • @baksteen123 Thank you. I tried to make the arrangement flow easily without losing its feel.

Thank you. You will gain an access to my private web site where I keep many of the scores/tabs of my arrangements once I confirm your order/payment.

Thank you Daniel. The score/tabs of this and many others are available to those who purchased my CDs as to show my appreciation. I need some pushes to go on. I hope you understand.

  • brought tears to my eyes, so beautiful and masterfully done!!

  • @leokandsrv1186 Thank you! I hope it was a good tears.

  • Just discovered you today when I was looking up Billy Joel's "She's Always A Woman". I've been listening to Sungha Jung for a while, and didn't think there was anyone out there who could compare to him. I stand corrected, as your style is angelic.

Thank you for providing an avenue for someone who's in desperate need of beautiful music like this to help in their walk during a difficult time. The way you play helps me to hope for better days ahead. Thank you :)

  • @joeldavid0320 Thank you for discovering my videos. The music saved me many times too. I don't know what it is but I wouldn't even be here without it. (^^)

  • Wow! Your rendition of "The Boxer" is nothing short of amazing. As an aspiriing guitarist myself, the greatest compliment I can give you is to say that you inspire me. I'm totally impressed by your ability and talent!

  • @donlee327 Thank you! I am happy to hear that.

  • Wow! I've always enjoyed this video but for some reason, today, it feels fresh and I can't stop listening to it! Best rendition!

  • @EaglesStir Thank you!

  • I like that!!

  • @meistermatsch Thank you!

  • wow. i just purchased his album and he gave me all his tabs... not just the ones from the album... THANK YOU Hiroshi Masuda!!! you're so underrated.... if only you were like 8 years old or something haha

  • @chungram3n Thank you. I hope you enjoy learning and picking. If I were a little girl, I could be at least on TV once, maybe. (^^)

  • @peacejoytown great rendition, would u you be willing to send me the tab all the way to yorkshire.

  • @tanglewood95 Thank you. Please read my reply on your previous post. Only discs can be sent to Yorkshire.

  • @peacejoytown any chance of the tab,

  • @tanglewood95 The score/tabs of this and some others are available to those who purchased my CDs as to show my appreciation. I need some pushes to go on. I hope you understand.

  • @tanglewood95 how do i get your cds?bearing in mind i dont have a credit card, could i send cash or postal order?

  • @tanglewood95 Unfortunately I can't accept cash nor postal order since they charge fee for currency exchange almost same as a price of CD and end up getting nothing. The only is to use PayPal or bank transfer which the buyer will be charged fee.

  • Your style is impeccable. I hope that I could become as good as you some day. It's a joy to hear you play.

  • @MoldyTaters Thank you. Hoping is a good start.

  • this is incredible...nearly brings a tear to my eye.

  • @jpowell5380 Thank you. I arranged this for the memory of my old friend.

  • amazing :) where did u find the tab?

  • @g23el Thank you. This is my own arrangement and the score/tabs of this and some others are available to those who purchased my CDs as to show my appreciation.

  • @peacejoytown When I've ordered your CD, how do I get the login name/pass? :) Best regards, you're awesome!

  • @Dunkburk Thank you! I send an email reply with those information after I confirm your order/payment. This message will be sent to the email address you used for the order.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed your performance, thank you for sharing.

  • @JLEOLEGACY Thank you. It is my pleasure.

  • Once again I nearly cried. You are a true master of the guitar. Extraordinary.

  • @HSAdestroy Thank you.

  • The best version of one (so great) song i never ear before Marcel Dadi. 5'12'' of pure genius.

  • @TravelerAfricAsia Thank you.

  • Woah AMAZING COVER!

  • @Anitrop Thank you!

  • outstanding....mind blowing hot!

  • @deonal Thank you!

  • Love your work! Wish I could listen to your music on a lazy Sunday morning. Or any other time when I'm in the mood for beautiful guitar-----which is exceptionally often. My ears thank you!!!

  • @califeagle Thank you. It is my pleasure.

  • If I can ever play half as good as you I'll die a happy man. Thank you for posting your superb rendition of this classic song.

  • @pauliev69 Thank you. It is my pleasure. If you come half way, why not, come all the way.

  • @pauliev69 Heck if I can ever play 1% as well as him I'll die a happy man!! ; )

  • flawless, Very Nice! Thankyou:)

  • @stephen3398 Thank you. It is my pleasure.

  • Absolutely brilliant

  • @MrAussieKris Thank you.

  • estimado : simply congratulations

  • @bramip Thank you.

  • And the fighter still remains,

Best wishes to all the sufferers of the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami in East Japan!

We will fighter back for sure but we really need to know what we are fighting for.

  • @peacejoytown let's fight for all those who are using their quotas of life repairing in the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, those who are evacuated and wishing to get home, those who are wishing Japan to recover to her original beauty soon and those who love Japan so much!

  • semplicemente perfetto.......complimenti..!!!!!!

  • @ddenem20 Grazie !

  • @ddenem20 Yes, I feel so sad to hear that they are risking their lives there. I just hope that what they are saying about being "safe" is true.

  • That was so goooood

  • @HSAdestroy Thank you.

  • Absolutely Incredible. MORE than Music to my ears. You are a thrill to listen to and i am amazed at your talent. God has surely gifted you.

  • @zoboomafoo24 Thank you. I am happy to hear that you enjoy it.

  • This had me in tears

  • @radioheadfan235 I hope it wasn't bad one.

  • I cannot stop clicking the replay button, it is indeed a beautiful arrangement of this song, thanks Masuda san!!

  • @thymol210 Thank you for many clicks! It is my pleasure.

  • Amazing! Any chance you'll be doing more Simon & Garfunkel? Your renditions of their songs are so beautiful, I can tell they have a place in your heart :) I think you should do "For Emily, whenever I may find her", maybe?

  • @elinmagg Thank you. I do have a strong feeling for their music. That song is in my wish-to-play list.

  • Wow!

  • @AzBboy Thank you!

  • Unreal this was so great to watch, always been a favorite of mine, Now I want to play it like you do...Thanks for sharing

  • @OldFoggieJr Thank you. I hope you enjoy learning and playing.

  • Fantastic my friend. Keep up the good work.

  • @dubfortheyouth Thank you. I will do my best to keep on and up.

  • Lovely cover of this great old classic. This really brings out the true beauty of the melody.

  • @Dfirebird3 Thank you. It may be a classic song but sounds fresh every time I play and listen to it.

  • Matsuda-san no chikara wa subarashii desuyo! I put a little response to your video. I was heavily inspired by watching your video and listening to the record and trying to match what I heard. Your skills really inspire me to become a better musician and person. I have always found that playing good music relieves stress and helps people cope with the uncertain things in their lives. Honto arigatou da

  • @meximaya Thank you and Douitashi mashite. Although I am trying to be a good person but I am not if I am. It's good to hear that you enjoy playing guitar.

  • That was brilliant, I have watched this video over and over again. I would love to learn fingerstyle guitar, but I dont not know where to start. Could you please guide me on this.

  • @jdsvic Thank you. Go ahead and start playing. Your fingers will need to be dancers on fretboard and that can only be accomplished by practicing. Watching masters like Chet, Tommy will help you. Enjoy!

  • Whoops, apologise. Don't want a slating for that one. Damn iPods!

  • @spark448

If you are too busy performing and making music as a professional, maybe you could point some of us UK residents in the right direction to where / when / how we may be able to see or hear you. If you are half as good as this guy, the first to appologise will be me!

  • Sounds great as always; you never cease to amaze me. Specially when you cover S & G, you bring me back lots of good memories. Keep playing!

And, thanks for such a wonderful performance.

  • @mynewtproductions Thank you. I will try my best to keep on.

  • @spark448

    Kind of getting there????

    a hole!

  • @pdeano76Listen carefully to the performance "a hole", but I suppose you can't hear very well as you've got your head well and truly up your own a hole, take it out every now and then to realise how wrong you are

  • Do you realise your guitar isn't in tune?To me it would be important to have the instrument tuned correctly before starting, but I suppose if you're unaware of the out of tunefulness of your instrument this obviously doesn't concern you, also some of the notes of the lyrics are missing in your interpretation of the melody.Anyway good luck with your playing, you're kind of getting there

  • @spark448 Thank you for the kindly advises.

  • @spark448 Watched your comments and all you do is try to find "flaws" with people's way of playing, might wanna start putting your own stuff online to prove you know better that the one's you're keep trying to pick out flaws from.

  • @Nipmunk Firstly you didn't watch my comment you read my comment. An honest comment from a professional musician can only help a struggling amateur reach his or her full potential.I'm not one who chooses to sit in a dark room and film guitar videos wishing for views etc I rather perform to the public. If I were to find more flaws in his playing the first one would be his posture and inability to connect to the listener, asians have a difficult time connecting to others especially through music

  • @spark448

wtf dude!!! The guitar is perfectly in tune... what is up with people on youtube trying to criticize people to make themselves feel better!!! I'd like to see you do better

  • @grasshoppa41 Most people can hear but very few can listen grasshoppa, meaning the guitar seems to be in tune to you as you haven't the quality of listening I have.It is out of tune.If you know anything about music you would realise that my criticism is positive and will make this mediocre player hopefully analyse his approach to playing the music and not just repeating the notes in a mechanical way.Giving constructive feedback does make me feel better as I'm helping someone who needs guidance

  • @spark448

yes i think i understand where your coming from, many beginners tend to view the guitar more as an object than the wonderful tool of transcendence it can be, this leads to a certain kind of disillusionment within their own perceptions of music and how it sounds, as is the case with you.. your quality of hearing is currently swirling amongst this overwhelming state of musical disillusionment... it'l come with time.. you dont have any videos of you playing? Why is this?

  • @spark448 kind of getting there??

Enlighten us then big timer, upload a video to show this "mediocre" disconnected asian and the rest of us how its done then fella......don't troll the guys comments you douche....

  • @4125marlow Are you another asian alien living in the UK you douche?Too busy performing and making music as a professional guitarist to join the amateur part timers on You Tube, and when I want your advice I'll give it to you fella

  • @spark448 His guitar is very well tuned. Any time you put a capo or move up the fretboard, the overall tuning is adjusted a few cents. Each note is altered by how hard you fret or pluck. A bit of dissonant vibration is expected, but you'd have to have a very trained ear to be bothered by it as a listener. In this video, any tuning issues are negligible. An interpretation does not have to match the original; that's why it's an interpretation. Good luck trolling. You're kind of getting there.

  • Love this piece!!!

  • @Randay37 Thank you!

  • This is insanely good!!!!

  • @PB1ggy Thank you!

  • @roscoefoofoo Thank you.

  • this is my favorite out of all songs you did, i don't know why.. how i wish i have your talent.. oh and p.s you look like Hiro Nakamura of the series called Heroes.... you are a fingerstyle hero..!!

  • @DrakeBellPhilippines Thank you. This arrangement is a special one for me too. I should check that show sometime since you are not the only one to say that.

  • @peacejoytown yeah.. u should check it out,, it's like looking at yourself in the mirror..:) i wish u could do a tutorial of this one, i've been trying to play this song for a week now, but i can't get it right..lol.. i can't figure out how u did it.. oh well, that's life, ^_^

  • how do you get the part at 16-19 seconds to sound so together, when i play it you can hear the individual notes.. is it speed? or playing the rythym notes more quietly?

  • @grasshoppa41 I think it is more of loudness of each note.

  • Some perform this without the capo and start on the 5th fret....

  • @urgdaddy I just did it differently.

  • Stunned silence. That was really good.

  • @herbal1971 Thank you.

  • Hello My name Is Irvin, i'm 14 years Old. Sorry for my bad english, i'm french. Congrats you're awesome, a lot of feeling and emotion, you encourage me to progress at fingerstyle. Would be possible that you send the tab to My Email Please, I would be Delidhted. Thank You very Much

  • @pdeano76 There are many repeated parts, so you will see the goal soon. Maybe you should get one of those silent guitar. (^^);
