Hey ive been trying to achieve this on my bass basically i bought 2 RCA to mini stereo jacks and attached a Big jack adapter (which are also stereo) onto the ends plugged them into the RCA input and output on the Kaoss pad mini and plugged output into the amp and input into the bass only problem is the bass wont come through the amplifier unless im touching and effect on the kaoss pad any advice on how to make the bass come through the amp and then I can touch the kaoss pad to make effects?
@kyle20017 yes, your Kp is in "send" mode, hold de A button and press B, then turn the Fx knob to "dir" mode, this instructions are in the manual, by the way, if your amp has a send-return loop in the back is going to work better... in this case is convenient to leave it in "send" mode
The kaoss pad has stereo RCA input and output, I use two RCA-plug adaptors in my plug cables, very convenient and cheap! one for input and one for output... it also has a miniplug headphone output, so there are several possibilities.
will it work if you used a XY MIDI pad and put it on like matt bellamy's from muse?

did you use a pre amp? or plug it straight into the kaoss pad?
DearDiarymusic 1 year ago
@DearDiarymusic straight into the pad... but sounds better if you use the Fx loop of your amp or as a send Fx with a mixer

Sounds great man! I just recently added it on to my pedal board, do you fine it changes the tone when its turned on also?
Bassguy623 3 years ago
Yeah, actually it does a little bit, also loses some gain and low end, I try to fix it with the amp Eq. Thanks for the coment!
